Muminlove,

It is a cooincidence you ask this question. Our maid just had bad agonizing muscle spam in the neck and has this cs thing. she was admitted in hosp for this week. Is out now. The doc has put a collar on her and asked her not to lift heavy things and she is pretty much not working (i am working. yes ;-)

Anyway, there is some homeopathic medicine my mom in law says that is the best. show to a good homeopathic doc. Also, not to spend too much time doing repititive tasks at one go. if ironing clothes, iron a few and then do something else....heat. relaxants. pain killers. Dr Srinivan in malleshwaram is good. If I learn anything more. Will share.

There are some very basic simple exercises which help more than probably any medicine can...because medicines will suppress the pain, but the asans and the exercises will address the posture and remove the root cause of the pain...lemme see if i can find images of the same and upload...

if it is just muscle pain, exercises and asanaas would do...in those cases, homeopathic medicines would help in relieving the pain.If there is degeneration or compression of the intervertebral discs,u need to take treatment to prevent drying  and subsequent rejuvenation of the disc..so definitely internal and external  treatments should be done. after the treatment it is mandatory to follow the exercises to check the recurence. the first step is to take a cervical x ray- Ap and Lateral view to assess the condition. You DONT need any MRI for this. That will give you a clear picture
