my daughter did too - but not going. not very comfortable with the idea of letting a 12 year old into a residential camp so far away :(

Thanks Anu ji for the reply, Congratulations to your daughter!!, yes, same here too.. cant dare to send my son to the camp, that too during elections..:-(, but still these kids can continue to be part of Duke tip for other courses till 10th std, All the best to the little girl..

Hi,

I think my son too is a gifted (dont know if i shud use this word) child. He will start his 3rd standard now in June. He started reading story books at the age of 4, that is when other kids were just learning to read APPLE, BAT etc. He just reads and reads anything he can lay his hands on. And since 1st class onwards he is getting gold medals in International Olympiads, spell bees etc. I keep hearing from moms of his friends and teachers that he is too matured for his age and has too high understanding and analyzing skills are too high. Because I am always with him I thought all his age kids are like that. But now I started feeling the same when I compare him with other kids of his age. He can tell the spelling of any word even if he dint hear it before nor he knows the meaning of. Please let me know how I should guide him. And any sites and programs that are tailored for such kids?
