I am thinking of taking admissions for my kid in Dhruv Global in pashan sus road.

Any one has any feed back about this school .

Can you tell me for which STD?

We have created what-apps group for STD-1 2019-2020. There are currently 21 members.
As per my knowledge there are 80 admissions for STD 1 till date.

Its new school here so no first hand feedback. However, one of the group member elder kid had studied in their Sangamner branch and she has all good things to tell.

I just read in other thread that you are seeking admission for UKG.
May I know what all option you have considered?

My kid goes UKG Sapling and we parents had tough time considering minimum options this year. Thankfully most of us got into Dhruv.
STD 1 admission is going to be tough so better get into school of your choice from Sr Kg itself.

Which are the options you people considered? My kid is in sapling too, he is in LKG.. please contact you share your experiences and suggest?

Most of the parents had PICT in mind till Aug 2018 when PICT updated website with notice that there is no seat available from STD 1 to STD 3. Options that I hear from most parents are - Orchid, Wisdom World, Vibgyor, Blu Ridge, Ravindranath Tagore, VV Wakad etc.

However, majority is opting for Dhruv this year.

My View on Dhruv Global Pune

I see that the school infrastructure is good. Their vision is also good and comes from a well established school from Sangamner. They have all basics in place ( camera in bus , gps tracking, CCTV on premise, larger grounds , swimming pool, good food, they promote dance and arts ). Fees are in median range of current fees of private schools - total annual expense between 1.2 to 1.6 Lakh on child. Depending on your transport choice and other choices of external exams.

Neutral : Day boarding school  - 8.30 AM to 4 PM - I see this as good option as Child does not need to be sent to Day care and gives much more time to child for making friends and play and participate in activities.. something which Parents struggle to fulfill due to hectic schedule.

Possible question in parent's mind : New school in Pune - real quality not yet proved for Pune campus - but same is the case with Rabindranath Tagor , PICT , Vibgyor Rise etc. We have to take a call based on overall gut feeling and some help from current student's parents views...

But overall there is a very positive sentiment about Dhruv Global School in Pune.

Anyone who has confirmed admission to Dhruv Global Pune ?  Or Anyone who has child already studying in Dhruv Global Pune  - Please post your comments and advise prospective parents please.

I have taken admission of my child in Jr KG in Dhruv School. I have visited the school and found it good based on the things that we can judge as of now as mentioned by @RishiG. Rest of the schools like GIIS and PICT are also relatively new and things will be clear in next few years.

We visited but its in isolated area we felt. Other schools mentioned below like tagore, vibgyour rise and pict r at better locations.

Hello all,
I am seeking admission for 4th grade. My son goes to RTSE and I€™m not content with the quality of education and planning there. We just returned from UK for good, so thought this would be a good option. But neither me or my son are having a good experience here. Can someone suggest me some other good schools in Pune. I am really impressed with Dhruv Global School, but worried if he can cope up with the CBSE academics and the languages.
Parents from Dhruv School, please give your feedback in regards to the academic pressure at school. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

Hi @smp1. Have you finally changed to dhruv? How did you find it?

Rsss 2019-08-20 14:20:14

Hi All. Anyone sending their children to dhruv from pimple saudagar?

vaishnaa 2019-08-28 06:37:28

Hi, i am very late to reply but incase you haven't switched- Usually people from US prefer Vibgyor high because of its worksheets curriculum, you can consider it. If you want to stick to IGCSE, then other schools are daffodils- which is relatively old and no complaints as such SNBP world school, Podar International school tathawade.

I am also looking for sr kg next year. Can other parents please give their feedback. Its day boarding till 4 pm. How do they plan a day? Is there a rest period for children? Do they get very tired till they reach home?

sunitacv 2019-09-21 15:06:48

Hello @rs18,

Dhruv Global Pune is not day boarding. School timing for Primary and Secondary students is 8.30 - 4 pm. Except for 1st Saturday they have half-days on Saturday i.e. 8.30-11.30 pm.

For kinda garden kids, school timing is between 8.30-11.30 or 12. All Saturdays are OFF for LKG-UKG kids.
They also have option for day-home ( kinda garden only) that working parents can opt for otherwise its just regular school no boarding.

>> Is there a rest period for children? Do they get very tired till they reach home?
They have lots of extra curricular/sports activities added in their daily time-table however I do feel my daughter is little exhaust by the time she reach home. But thats not cause of school but bus travel-time. It does take approx 40-45 min for her to reach our bus drop point.
We live in Balewadi.

So far experience is good and she enjoys going to school. No complain.

Please share some insights on daily homework. I am concerned that with most of the day spent in school, children will not have enough energy and enthusiasm left to do anything once they return. Also please share feedback on the teachers, with the school being new do they have teachers with appropriate experience
