Hey, am visiting pune for about a week. am staying in Wanowrie.

I need some info on where I can take my 3 yr old for some NON-MALLing fun. I am from Pune but never really was looking for things to do with my son ( simply cos he didn't exist then). Are the sarus baug rides still good? & how about the peshwe park train? Anything else? Also anything really different? ( Am from bangalore- so we've done the mall thing, farm thing etc.) how is sanskruti ( is that the name?) ?

Speedy reply wud really help.

Rajiv gandhi Zoo. There is a tiger, lion and a bear the last time we went , apart from lots of crocodiles.

Panchet lake for boating

There is a big garden in Koregaon park(I forgot the name)

Lonavala (for the camel rides, profile drawing and other souvenirs)- There is also a water park there but its quite crowded

You can also drive down to Mahabaleshwar or Matheraon- Both are around 5 hours drive and are hillstations.

Also in many places in Pune there will be make shift entertainment for children with merry go round, mini giant wheel and horse rides.

U can go to Appu Ghar, it is in Nigdi. It has everything from water park, to games, rides to good food. besides that in Nigdi itself there is this Durga Devi tekdi (hills) it has huge open space for playing. Beautiful surroundings and away from city hustle-bustle, it's a perfect location. Check
