Hi @KrishR, we were tempted to visit victorious kids from long time and did that recently for comparison. Some how not impressed. Felt RTSE is more organized and better managed with clear approach. PICT is a clear winner i must say as far as cleanliness, safety and infrastructure is concerned.

Hi @priea and @KrishR

Thanks for your detailed review. Helps a lot to the parents who are in the midst of these new age stressful admission processes.I have just one question though, would be kind enough if you can answer -
BVRTSE is till 7th grade right now, will they increase it till 10th or till 12th? Reason I am asking is, for 11th and 12th grade, the exam pattern in AS and A level which very few schools offer in our area. If they increase till 12th, well and good, but if not, then what options do you think for your children? I personally want school till 12th standard to avoid going thru this stress again!
Thanks in advance for your reply!

@rics1 - They will gradually have 11th and 12th grade but with IB board not Cambridge that's what they mentioned in orientation last year. You may please call them for confirmation.

KrishR you mentioned ".Will post actual review once or son complete 2-3 months in the school."
would be great if you can provide an update based on your experience.

It's a good school.with a good amount of extra curricular activities and the teachers are pretty great as well..Has a few ups and downs here and there..like all schools..but overall I am very happy with the school... My daughter is currently in Grade 6..we joined the school last year....when it was the 1st year of the school...and we are very satisfied with it.

Thanks pria, noted urs kind word , little bit confused abt admission as later on want to change school , would b quite difficult. As most of schools in baner , doesn€™t hv clear picture of the admission process, seems like w need to chase them at all times .

Hi @Priea,
Could you please mention what are downs and ups in more details? We have shortlisted this school after the visit, but more clarity would be good. Thanks!

Yeah would want to know more about Rabindranath school. I visited the school on a Saturday. The admissions officer met, me in a room, in 5 mins explained everything regarding curriculum and fees structure and then handed me over to a didi maid to take a tour of the school. The didi mentioned, saturday they are short staffed and hence didis have to do the tour. Fair enough.

But stll, leaves a slight sour taste. welcoming nature in school, not in a hurry to finish stuff highlights the lack of planning about the day.
The curriculum as mentioned :
English, Maths, Science, GP, ICT, Art, Library are normal subjects
Hindi is basic till V
Marathi is for Spoken till V. After 6th Students have a choice to choose Hindi/French or one more as 2nd language.
From 9th Choose commerce or science.

Extracurricular : 5 per week
1 Music instrument
1 Speech and drama
1 Dance
1 Indoor Sport
1 Outdoor Sport

There is swimming pool, cricket net, football court, etc.
Fees are about 2.5 lakhs per year for grade 2. Does not include food, transport, textbooks.

Classes were nice. not more than 25 per class. But somehow the amount of material stuck in/outside classes was less. So school looked a bit barren. Especially compared to Victorious Kidss Educares

Would be interested to know first hand review of existing parent.

Hi, IAM Chitra from mangalore. I am planning to shift to Pune in March to join my son who already is in MIT Kothrud. I have a 11yrs old daughter for whom I am looking for an admission for the 7th grade. She has done her cbse schooling till now. I am quite skeptical abt schools as my daughter has had a horrible experience of schooling in Mangalore. And due to the things she has had to cope up she is slowly slipping into depression. Hence I am looking at a school which doesn't put any mental pressure on the kid by means of heavy bags, loads of homework and exams. She anyways gets 85-90% always and I want her to enjoy school . As she is very good in literature and writing and music, I am also looking at a school which gives equal opportunity to all those I had visited SRVM, Kalmadi School, MiT Cbse, DPS, but I found them to be quite mechanical in their approach which I didn't like. The approach has to be organic so that kids start loving what they do and are asked to do. Please do advice. IAM really quite worried
