My son will turn 3 by March 2018, as of now he is going to playgroup in Eurokids. i am confuse if i should continue his nursery in Eurokids or should take admission in proper school as i heard that taking admission in LKG/UKG in proper schools would be difficult.
Please share your thought. Also which are the best schools near kharadi area?
Hi. Yes it will be tough . If you have decided proper school then start from nursery itself. My son is in playgroup in seera and I have applied forms for proper school waiting for reply but I stay in nibm for Kharadi check top 10 schools I have heard name of Pawar school.. starting from nursery incase if you don't put also you will get idea about schools so at the time of lkg it will save your time..like I first liked Sanskriti school a lot but when I discussed about school with family then because of some reason we dropped it now I have applied for bishop undri...
If you don't mind and if at all possible for you to share the reason why you are not opting sanskriti please do share it because tomorrow we are planning to visit the campus(NIBM, Udri) as we got appointment for the same for tomorrow and they are not entertaining the walk in.
Hi arpita. Main reason they don't provide benches till 5th standard.... school is second home of child half day they spend there so sitting on floor for long time its not possible for one or two hour is fine for particular subject... even in our time we was having benches..... and if you making child to sit on floor so how we come to know sanskriti it taking care of posture .... I don't know I was bit uncomfortable with this rest school is good infrastructure is good.....
Hi arpita please share what other options for nursery...
Pawar public school (but they already have issued the form for nursery since 1st dec), Bishop(already issued the form),
Hutchings (but have review like they r mainly focusing on studying only, sports are less there), Wisdom is also OK OK,
MIT vishshanti Gurukul (they have very good infrastructure and play ground is really very huge, actually they were already running the IB n Cambridge board for last 12-13yrs and have started CBSE board since last two years).
I have applied for my son for L KG in Hutchings, Bishop (camp). In Pawar currently they don't have vacancy for L KG. MIT vishshanti.. we liked very much but only distance is bothering us.
We have visited Amanora School too but it also OK OK they have small play ground even for higher class too.
I have visited City international school, wanowari(not impressed)
MKNS, kondwa (OK, OK, fee(little bit higher) does not worth it as per my opinion).
Ok thanku ......your son will be going lkg next year or nursery?? I have applied at bishop undri for nursery... undri school near to my home... hutching will be bit far from nibm... kothari school you didn't liked much ? How much is fees for nursery?
What about caleum school..... I have only tried in bishop undri and sanskriti..... sanskriti I have dropped and bishop don't know will get through..... caleum and kothari will be options which are close to my home..... I don't want to send madhav at schools which are far like hutching is also far actually its not that far but while coming back from school at 1pm timings chances are of huge traffic in this kids get tired....
My son will be going to LKG for 18-19 as per current age criteria.
Kothari not preferring for below :
1.it is little bit far from my place (I m staying nearby magarpatta)
2.if at all sending him to Kothari like distance then prefer to opt the sanskriti (we liked their concept of giving sports spirit from early stage itself as it is really a good part for kids at this age for their concentration, focusing etc) also having many things too like karate, music, airomodelling, n many as per their presentation but yes their play ground was looking average.
3. Fee for MKNS is going to approx 1.4 lack for LKG and of sanskriti approx 1 lac (transport is not included)
How is caleum school?
Hi arpita... I don't have much idea about caleum its new school at undri nibm its from lkg ... if I'm not wrong at sanskriti in orientation she said we can choose only one activity from 5 which they have she was saying your child can do only one activity at one time that is on Friday for one jour extra school time and that too activity which chosen that you cannot change through out the year ... anyways sanskriti is good school ....
Caleum is a good school....they follow ICSE...
Thanks muddassir ... do you have which is better school caleum v/s sanskriti ... please share your views... thanks
Thanks muddassir ... do you have idea which is better school caleum v/s sanskriti ... please share your views... thanks
Both are good in their own way..Depends on what you are looking for..
Adding more information regarding the schools.
We have visited below:
Euro school (Undri) is good.
Vidya shilp is OK OK
Kalyani school is good (but fee is very high)
Hi arpita thanku for info even I have also visited vidyashilp its very much ok.... just now I had tour in caleum fees for lkg is 82k plus uniform and transport but I didn't find worth it and school also it was ok they just allow us to go without any entry so security is zero over there and total number of students is 500 which again its very less number
Hi arpita ..... sanskriti is given me time till 13th December for paying fees as they have shortlisted my son and bishop interview dates Will declare on 18th but again bishops admission is diesy and one more thing about bishop is bothering me that they allow nonveg in tiffin like egg and all which sanskriti dont allow this and we are pure vegetarian i know this things dont have connection in terms of education......... I'm bit confused now what to do...... what you have decided where to take admission
Hi arpita I personally took tour of classrooms today of sanskriti they have very good security system.... and their r very neat n clean in hygine , something which was holding me to proceed for admission that they make children sit on ground, after when I personally experienced by sitting down on carpet with table which I was not aware that they also provide desk .. but today when I experienced I felt it was very comfortable that desk was on eye level . ... so 2mr I will doing formalities of admission
Hi Madhav - Congratulations! Can u tell me the fees for Sanskriti?
Thanku muddassir.. I'm feeling so relief after finalising school..... Sanskriti one time admission fees is 35k non refundable... monthly nursery fees is 5000 —12 =60k.. Annual term fees 10000..... so total fees of nursery is 70k plus uniform and transport....... in Sanskriti for taking admission transport is mandatory for security reasons.... school follows a once in 2 year fee revision policy not like other school revised every year....
Till now not decided, as waiting for Bishop interview date.
As far as Sanskriti school we have visited the school last week so they said by the end of Dec they will disclose the result on the basis of lottery system so let's see what will be the result.
I also like the veg tiffin system of Sanskriti and kothuri school too follows the same veg concept as I am vegetarian.
Thanks ! Good luck to you for kids admission also hope u get a good school .
Hi arpita today I did formalities in Sanskriti and clarify more things about activities I thought its only on Friday for one hour extra and we have to choose from 5 activities any one but today it got clear apart from Friday activities there are 10 different activities which will be taken care on different days during school hours......
It's good u have done wid formalities.
U would be really feeling very relaxed after school has been finalized.
Yes about activities all these things were mentioned in their presentation.
Hi Arpita .... admin was asking before proceeding do you have doubts so I was again reconfirmning about sitting on carpet .... during winter how kids manage to sit on carpet It will be cold and all so looking my concern they felt I'm still not sure there were sending me back by saying you take time till 16th for proceeding admission .. I don't think so any other school will do like this they were not looking hungry for admission..... but then I said them no I want to do today itself so then also they left us alone me and my hubby and said you have discussion one more time.... so in this all I was taking time to proceed for admission....by that time my hubby went to pickup madhav from seera playgroup that 15 minutes i was alone and admin by themselve gave me another ororientation so that lady was asking me have you taken decision and I just started crying Ÿ˜"I don't know what happened to me that time so many things was going in mind is I have chosen right school ....will madhav manage to sit on floor till 4th std ... am I sending him early in bigger school or should he continue in seera only etc etc.... but finally I finalised
Arpita.... before going at sanskriti i also went to see orchid school nibm but it was under construction its coming near sanskriti but that surrounding area was looking like rural .... there are so many schools near NIBM... Nibm is blessed with education sector
Its good that atleast your kid got admission in first round & good school. On the top of that it's good kid got admission in Nursary only..
What I heard is its really difficult to get admission in good school in Jr Kg or 1st standard because of less no of seats availability..
I also applied for my kids admission at Sanskriti (bhukum campus) & waiting for second round of list as he is not short listed in first round..
