Hello, Has anyone secure admission in the new "The HDFC School" thats coming up in hadapsar. Have read good reviews about their gurgoan branch. Has anyone visited the school?? If yes can you please shed some light on it. Thanks.
Looking for updates for admission for the academic year 2017-18. Will be relocating to Pune from USA in August/ September . My Kid will turn seven in September 2017.
Would like to get a reply of my query.
Anyone took admission in the new school by HDFC in Magarpatta area? Would like to get some details...we are planning to relocate to Pune from Mumbai. Also would like to know about the Clara global school.
Hello... My kid studies in EuroSchool Undri and I am very happy with my child's growth. They have various activities and equally focuses on academics too
Hello everyone, I am thinking about Euro school Undri for my child. Will it be a right choice? Do they keep their promises made at time of counselling session for admission? And also which is the language for communication there? Plz reply as soon as possible?
hi just wanted to know pro & cons of st Helenas,as my daughter got admission in st annes & I have already taken it,now she is selected for st helenas,a bit confused.I heard st helenas selabus is very dificult
St Helena's is an ICSC board whereas St. Annes is a State
board school. There is a difference between two boards.
I know many local people (bases in Pune or Maharashtra) they use to prefer
state board. Whereas others opt for either ICSC or CBSC board schools for their
child.
Don84, like ManjuD mentioned St Helena's is an ICSE board school, and St Annes is state board. Both are very good convent schools ranked high amongst schools in Pune, so it all boils down to your board preference.
If I was in your place, I would have gone for ICSE board as its more progressive, but thats just my opinion.
By taking admission you mean you have paid the fees etc? Which grade, is it a possibility that you could continue for this year, and try next year for Helena's? Yes it is a very very tough call! Good luck.
Hello all, I just joined this group after reading the various feeds & posts and observing the constructive and relevant feedback observed from peer members. Thank you.
I am father to a 1.6 years old daughter, with the later engrossed in games :) and the former trying to get credible information, so that he can offer the best available opportunity for his daughter's education, when the time is ripe.
I am from a CBSE English medium, passed out in 2000, from a school where I had joined in Nursery and passed out at 12. Thank God, changing schools was never a requirement for my parents and neither a desirable option for me (old gold fond friends, you see! Can't part with them!) Times changed and I am now settled in Pune since the last 17 years and looking for information / knowledge on the best practices, available options and opportunities for my little princess, here in Amchi Pune.
So what are my preferences? An institution having playing grounds with a strong sense of discipline incorporated steadily and gradually into the candidates. Education, its required too, but it works best in tandem with a strong and well built physical and mental condition.
These days we see huge buildings (a.k.a. schools) with no or very little playground available for the kids. Whereas during my time, we had three grounds! Yes, in today's day world, its a luxury I will say, but definitely required to the extent possible and feasible. I would definitely want my princess to have a sound physical and mental build up along with good level of education imparted, preferably from a CBSE board (mainly because I am from CBSE, no hard feelings either for ICSE or State Run Boards).
So what are my options, The First one that comes to my mind is APS followed by KV. KV I will not prefer as the ones near to my places of residence are not at par with the standards I have heard at other established KVs across India (Kolkata, Delhi). I am hinting towards the social upbringing aspect. That only leaves me with APS (Army Public School), but being a civilian, my chances of securing an admission might be tight.
So, esteemed parents and well wishers, what all do you suggest for my kid? So that I can well prepare myself and be ready at the right time. > Which schools (preschools) should I be looking forward to? > What are the procedures involved? > When does the admission form come out in the market? > Any other guidelines and advise are always welcome.
I have tried to put my requirements in the best possible way possible, giving a vivid description about my past and my pre-requisites. I would look forward for your expert guidance and opinions please. Regards, Bikramjit. P.s. :- My princess will most probably start with her pre-schools post March 2017 :)
