Hutchings High School website is down since past 10 days.Any idea?

Guys...Howmany of u have ur School Leaving Certificates?? I gave my school leaving certificate (original) in SP college from where I did my 11th-12th..I have a duplicate copy of Jr. College leaving Certificate. When I completed my degree I got degree Certificate.

Now Hutchings wants School Leaving Cert of parents. Weird I feel :-|

Even I dont have the School leaving. And also dont have any option to get it back as well. Hope they dont consider it incomplete form just because of that.

Amit is there Admission advertisement in Paper today ??

Didnt find it in Indian Express or Sakal, not sure if they have put it in loksatta today.

Friends which other schools are you considering for admission in pre nursary ??

i guess they only need the photocopy (not original) of our school leaving certificate which we should have (if we properly manage our important papers), but probably that not might be a factor to reject the form since i guess many will not have it.

One more thing why they need Original Birth Certificate to be submitted alongwith form, will they keep it with them so that we wont be able to apply in other schools? OR they just need for verification?

Also do u guys have any idea when we can expect the Interview Date since i will be out of city for 2 weeks starting 23 dec :(

@amitwagh there are only few schools which we can consider this year since Bishop (costly) have changed their age cretiria and some dont have Nursery (st. vincent)

Thanks Devendra. You can get multiple copyies of original birth certificate  from the PMC. I think we should get the interview dates once we submit the form in the school.

Does any one know wht was form submission fees for last year....

 Today I visited the school, this opening is only for pre-nursery class, for those childrens who's age between 2.6 years to 3.6 years on 1st of June 2013. They will reject the forms if this criteria not meet. 

Any idea if someone want to get admission on nursery or LKG in this school?

i have submitted the form today morning....

there is no fees for form submission :)

They just take the form without verifying so its ur duty to completely fill the form with required documents else it will be rejected.

For status please keep checking on their website, thats what they told me.

For admission to nursery/LKG u have to keep checking and following the school since if some student opt out or leave the school from pre-nursery batch and vacancy exist then they can allow u, else its a nightmare to get admission...

I better suggest everyone to get ur child admitted as early as possible to the main stream school, since its the current trend and need of time

Got up early in moring and went to school i was there before 7 and got to see that there are 6 people already in a Q... submited doc. now we have to wait and watch wht will happned . i was going out of station for a wk but i think i need to cancle it.

later on did thy said any dates when they wil publish the list ???

No...they did not mention anything...but as per the discussion a few parents were having who already have their children in Hutchings, the list will be displayed after 10th Jan..Lets see!!

They did not check a single document. I have given Original Birth Certificate...I do have 4 copies more and have applied for 5 more copies with PMC which I shud get by Thursday.

lets keep this thread alive...any updates on admission in hutchings....

their admission status seems to be under construction..

The results will be out by 10th Jan this is what I came to know. So we need to keep checking admission status everyday.

 Any further news ? Even when I clicked on "Admission Status link" , it showing me , "Under construction" page . So now how we get about the interview status , or whether we selected for interview or not?

On 9th Jan morgning i visted Hutchings School, Security person told me that in last week of Jan they will call us for interview.. i guess list will be out and they will give interview dates....

Any update of the admission process ? As mentioned by swar, we should have recieved something by last week of jan. The site still shows under construction.

Today morning I called up at Hutchings school. And responsible person told me that  check school;s web site (which we parents always do) or come to school and talk at receiption.

I visited school today morning, I spoke to the lady to whom we submitted our form she said "They have not decided when to declare the list, its delay due to RTE ", I asked her do u have RTE forms and what is the Criteria?? She replied "we don’t have any forms for RTE and don’t know what is the Criteria" in end she said to check website.

It's not accepted that school management or perhaps lady doesn't knew RTE act yet.

As per my knowledge they very well understand this and they have missed out this from their admission process 2013 (same case is with St. Marry also). Not its too late for them (as they have received applications from parents)and hence they are working hard to resolve this issue.

I have seen Mount Carmel school and they have put RTE in their admission process 2013.

Hope they come out from something good to us.

can anyobody of you explain me the concept of RTE which you mentioned in above post ? Hutchings admissions are deplayed because of RTE.This is mentioned by you.I do not understand its meaning. Can you please explain .

Guys.... The school is really testing the patience of the parents. So far they have not even declared the dates by when they will be publishing the list. Its 04-Feb now.

I am planning to visit the school tomorrow morning at 9:30 AM. Lets hope they will say some good news then.
