Hi Kavita,

Both these schools have CBSE syllabus and both are good for overall development of the child.  The only advantage with Millennium I think ( based on feedback on this website and talking to parents of Millennium kids) is that parents of Millennium school need not worry about kids . Bagless school is a big advantage...

But sanskriti is also a good school. i am planning to visit sanskriti school tomorrow. They have started admissions in Nov and still few seats are available. I will update you after my school visit.

Millennium school admission are going on. Not sure if seats are still available.

Let me know if you hear anything about the admissions.

Regards,

Shashank Rangole

Thanks Shashank,

Even i visited both schools still not able to decide..liked both the schools.

i am getting admission in Millenium Oracles but its a afternoon school. Not comfortable with timings as i am working mother. Need to first see at my end if i can manage personally with the timings. School decides the batch timings not we..if my child get 12or 1pm school then what to do. Will talk to them n then sort this out. I liked millenium sports grounds and plant nursery for sure.

Sanskriti we are getting a combination of convent speaking teachers plus we are not leaving our indian values there..liked the idea. They introduce hindi and sanskrit too down the line which is also useful for our kids. Good environment and clean campus.

Please give your feedback after visiting sanskriti.

Thanks

Kavita

I am planning for Sanskriti . The combination of CBSE along with maintaining indian values attracted me. Also the school environment is to good. I would like to see my kids studying in pollution free environment.

Millennium - Dont they have day care facilities before and after the school ?  If not I suggest get some local day care school where you can leave your son/ daughter and later ask the school to drop him there. Only thing you need to ensure that the day care school address does not change. I hope you are aware that the school pick and drop locations cannot be changed once updated in the beginning of the year.

If you are working mother then you can explore Vikhe patil whose admissions are starting next week. Saturday adv will be on the school website. Vikhe patil is a day boarding school.

Or Gurukul School is also a excellant day boarding school.

I think this side of the town, as rightly mentioned by all of you....

The best schools are -

Millennium

Gurukul

Vikhe Patil

Sanskriti

Vidya Valley

My only concern is, due to different age criterion in Vidya Valley, my son will be loosing a year if I opt for Vidya Valley otherwise I have liked the school.

Btw, Millennium, to my knowledge is SSc board...but the school feedback is so good that I dont mind going for it....The school teaching methods are innovative & they give all round development opprtunity to your kids. Though tagged as SSC, its way beyond the other SSC schools

People, do keep on updating about the dates for admissions.

Thanks,

Avi

Just a correction, Millenium has switched over to CBSE from this year onwards. Also, admission process is over, they gave out the forms on 27th Nov. I had applied for my daughter, but she did not get selected. Their selection process is random number based.

Just one downside though, they have raised the fees by a huge amount. The fee for nursery is 55K + 25 K one time payment + 15K for transport.

Hi All,

Any idea what are the fees for Jr.kg for Vikhe patil. They have announced admissions starting 10th Dec 2012,  There is no details of fees on their website. Please let me know if anyone has any idea of admission process followed in Vikhe patil and the fee structure.

Hi r12345678 ,

Dont loose heart. I think this year all the schools will increased fees in the same way as millenium has done to take care of RTE.

Now we will pay tax ( which includes education cess ) to government and we will  pay more fees (through  schools) for RTE implementation . i have heard schools are getting Rs.1000 per student for RTE. How can this be sufficient.

Hi r12345678

Are u sure that Millennium has changed into a CBSE school from this year?

This then makes it my very first choice!!!

Are there any chances of getting a mid - term admission then?

 hi Avi30,

Yes i am sure Millennium has changed to CBSE. I attended their school orientation program in whicn the principal announced this. Its also there on thier website :

http://myshala.com/team/faq/#Syllabus00

Regarding mid term admission - I dont know. Now itself there was such a huge rush for admission. They are going to put up the 2nd round list next week, so Im hoping my daughter's name figures up then. You can try enquiring in the school.

Regards.

 Hi friends,

Apart from millenium and sanskriti, I visited Tree House High school at karve Nagar. It is ICSE board. The school is new started last year and they have standard upto 4th for now.....increasing thereafter..........

Overall I liked the school as they have ICSE board also extra curricular activities like dance, music, basket ball etc....fees are 30k annual fees and 15k admission fee which is quite reasonable compared to other schools in and around the vicinity.

Only thing which makes me worry is that the school is new.

Anybody having any feedback on the school. please post.

Hi Sanskriti one time non refundable fees is approx 35000+1500+700 and then 2400 rs per month (for Jr. K.G) and 3000 rs for Nursery.. Trasport some 13500/15000 rs.

They have only 35 students per class..still as its little in outskirts (near Manas Resorts) but i feel like recommend it. They introduce Hindi in Sr.KG and Sanskrit in their syllabus too by 3rd std or may later down the line. They have music and dance too.

I really liked the school and feel if we are anyways paying such high fees then we should get the quality. Though its not 50 yrs old convent school but i see a very bright future of it.

Finally all should finalize the school according to their convinence..somehwhere we have to compromise either board, distance, school or fees. Very difficult to get all in one.

Thanks kavita for your response. Did you get admission for your kid in Millennium Oracles?

I also visited Sanskriti school, but the distance seemed to be too far . This was more from the point of view that we are both working parents and both our offices are 20 to 25 kms away from the school in case we are required to visit the school.

Anybody has any idea what are the fees for Jr.kg for Vikhe patil this year or past information will also help.

Hi

Anyone having idea about how is Sanskriti school at NIBM road?

I m planning to take admission for Nursery for my son. But he dont eat by his own so i m very much concerned about co-operative and child friendly teachers.

Madhav12 2017-12-08 23:51:20

Hi shrb.... I have been at sanskriti for nursery admission... I liked the school only thing I didn't liked that they make children to sit on floor so because of this I'm taking time to decide for admission.... about eating that I think in any school depending on school to feed them its not good idea...

Its been years for this chain mail but would like to get information about sanskriti school. I m almost zeroed down to put my kid there. One thing which i feel is like they have environment more friendly for maharashtrians and english communication is less. Plz correct me if i m wrong.

Madhav12 2017-12-10 09:30:14

Hi I have been there recently for orientation and I felt same thing but now when they are doing followup for admission for nursery whoever staff is calling their English is very much polished so it's mixed environment .... what about sitting arrangement for children no benches till 5th standard what you think about sitting posture of kids..... sitting on floor for such a long time its holding me to proceed for the admission
