cure for throat infection

My child is 1 1/2 yrs old and now he's having throat infection. Can i cure him being in home or should i need to consult a doctor. And i use NASOCLEAR drops when he has breathing trouble due to cold. How many times can i use it on a day.Pls specify.

i recently visited the dr. for the same problem...for my daughter..

he prescribed nasoclear to be given in both the nostrils thrice a day..2 drops each time..that wud suffice..

other than that you can just give him warm water often which would help to clear the throat...if you still feel the infection is severe and he is not eating anything coz of that its better to consult the Dr.
