Parent control app to restrict Child Mobile Usage

Would like to check with parents if anybody uses any 'Parental control' app to monitor/restrict their child (<5 years old) mobile/digital usages? Tried using Google family link, seems to be good, but not able to set the time limit in app level. Tried qustodio app also, but doesn't seem to show the app usage time properly. I know mobile shouldn't be given to Child (so pls don't put such comments), but due to school online classes and rhymes/stories on mobile for their education learning. Hence, It seems to be difficult to completely avoid mobile, that's why thought of restricting the usages through technology kind of automatic mobile locking.Any other free apps/software based on personal experience?
See there is no alternative to limiting the screen time on mobile except u have to limit the time u handover the mobile to kid.
I tried everything in past 12 years and only solution is that you yourself restrict the timings the child can access the mobile or laptop or i pads.
