Are sausages safe for toddlers to eat? Since the meat wont be that much cooked. Would 1 steaker once in a while be ok?

Yes. They have to be cooked very well and right through. When you cut them make sure teh center is not pink. Instead it should be brown like well cooked sausage. I cut them into small circular pieces - almost 3/8" wide. Thsi way my toddler (1.9yr old) likes to pick them up and eat them on his own and it is not too much of a meaty

sorry...that was my toddler. Back to the post:

I also peel off the outer skin so that he does not choke over it. This way my toddler (1.9yr old) likes to pick them up on his won and eat them on his own and it is not too much of a 'meaty' texture (when cut in smaller circular pieces).
