how is the education in eurokids....any eurokids parents are there who can share ur experience...and whats the difference between the child from a montessori school to that of a child from a normal school?

kushi, dont go by the name of the school..a playschool is good ONLY when the teachers are good there..so it depends from branch to branch. like my son started his school with eurokids(bilekahalli branch, bangalore). very good environment and extremely nice teachers. then we moved to another area, so he got a branch transfer. the new one (sarjapur road) was so bad that we had to take him out from there. we then put him in vidyarambh (bellandur)..the school has some exceptionally passionate teachers and they care like mothers...so from my experience i know that you need to go by branch and not brand.

whether u want to put yr kid in a regular school or montessori, depends on yr child a lot..his temperament, his learning style, his personality..also, school's ratio of teacher:students, proximity of school from yr home, school's tie-up with mainstream schools are all strong determinants of your decision..many schools claim to be montessori but are actually not affiliated  to the indian montessori centre. so be careful there too.

My daughter had a very good time at Euro Kids (Vasant Vihar, Thane). She not only learnt a lot of things but had changed quite a lot ever since she started going there. They have a very good curriculum and the ambience is quite good too. And they make sure school is fun for the kids.

thanks for reply..... all eurokids schools follow the same pattern of teaching...my daughter is going pre nursery in eurokids, shimoga...they are teaching them lots of rhymes..and make the kids do some work sheets. i need to know whether the kids have a exposure towards the montessori materials because they didnt show me any such materials.....

Nowadays all good playschools use Montessori methods of teaching and employ Montessori trained teachers or train the teachers themselves in Montessori style. Euro Kids does too and their curriculum is much more advanced than any other playschool I have come across.
