Hello,
In our case, Pediasure was advised by the doctor starting 2 years age. We give only home cooked food to our kid but nowadays you can not be sure of the nutrients considering quality of soil, water, fertilizers, pesticides etc. This means even though you are giving good quality home cooked food, there will still be some deficiencies. Pediasure will help you fulfill that gap. It has many nutrients and is very safe too. it is lactose free FYI.
From the time we have been giving it, we have seen increase in immunity and weight is gaining steadily. Activity level increases and it is best food if your child falls sick and doesn't want to eat anything. Pediasure comes in 2 flavors - Vanilla and Chocolate. since we dint want to introduce chocolate favor so early, we opted for vanilla. it is quite yummy and now my kid wont have regular milk but only Pediasure. FYI, even normal milk nowadays is not assured to provide you all nutrients intended.
IMO Pediasure is a good option.
You may check with others too!!
Hello bliiissful
thank u so much for feedback..since how long u r giving to ur kid ??do u add 5 scoops as mentioned on d pack ?? Bcoz when I tired with milk as my son didn't like with water n it became too thick when added 5 scoops...I heard 1 scoop is sufficient to get required nutrients ...is it true..
My daughter is 2.3 years old ,I give her one scoop in a day which means half scoop in morning and another half in evening
Hi ...does pediasure cause constipation?
