I have a four yr old son who seems to be hyperactive. He is constantly doing one thing or the other. He lacks patience and hates any activity which will require him to sit in a place for more than 5 mins.Iam at my wits end.He was a late talker and speaks remotely.
I took him to my peaditrician who suggested speech and occupational theraphy. But i hardly see any progress..Do these theraphies really help??Otherwise he is v loving child. My only worry is once he joins junior kg this behaviour wil not be tolerated. Can anyone throw any light on how i can improve him and improve his social skills?
hyperactivity in kids can be a mother's nightmare..hang on there!!

Hey may be u should talk to him more and more.... keep giving him a running commentry of everything that is happening arround. When u talk, he will talk too. encourage him to talk. ask him questions irrespective of whether he answers or no.
