Hi ML,

If you have not, try the building blocks as pvs said. It helps with concentration and improves cognitive ability. Fisher price have some great thinking toys like putting objects into openings as per their respective shapes. There are other stacking toys too that are good for stimulating the brain.  Sit with him and observe how they are playing with it for sometime. Try as maximum as possible not to intervene and let them figure out how to play with it. In case he is not able to figure out how to play or look to you for help, then teach himhow to use them. Some toys that involve more physical activity is cycle. Take him to the play area in the cycle. Since you said he likes balls, get him a basket ball set. This is modeled similar to the real basketball and comes with a basket that needs to be stuck or hung to the wall and a ball. He may also like bat and ball. If possible for a few days try not to put on the tv when he is awake and see if he is getting interested in playing with toys. Many times they will like playing with everything else around them apart from their toys. They will like playing with our mobiles, computer, tv, switches etc.
