When to introduce chapatis in the kid's diet

Hey...I got to know Chapati has harmful effects on a kid's liver so we should introduce it only after 2 years. Is it a myth or truth.

Veenu, If your kid is not allergic to Gluten or Wheat based products, you can introduce it anytime after 6 months. After 6 months, the chapatti needs to be broken into smaller pieces and softened in warm milk before giving to the baby. I assume your kid is already 2 years. In this case softening the chapatti will not be required. In case he likes sweet, you can give him with honey or jam. If he likes a little spicy food, you can give with some potato sabji or dhal. If he likes it dipped in milk, you can do that as well. While kneading the Chapatti, mix little ghee in the dough. Its more healthier.
