During your pregnancy did you do yoga? Did it help? What yoga asanas did you do when pregnant?
I attended exercise classes during pregnancy - of course, these included some aasanas. I cannot name them off the cuff. But if it is under a trained instructor, any form of exercise is very helpful. Both my deliveries were normal and I felt that a large part was played by the exercise sessions.
I did yoga during both of my pregnancies, and both were normal. I feel it definitely helped - I was active, no issues during pregnancy, and delivery was smooth. I don't remember specific asanas, but I do remember my yoga teacher modified some asanas so that I would not lie on my back and also no forward bends after the first trimester. I am not sure about starting yoga for the first time during pregnancy - you would need to check with your doctor and also a good yoga instructor. Since I was already doing yoga before, it wasn't an issue for me. One thing to remember is not to overdo any of the stretches, just go as far as you can - the last thing you want to do when you are pregnant is to pull some muscles and get hurt!
