It is adviced to do the message and bath for the baby by the mother only. Not even any other family members. There are two reasons for this. 1. It improves the lactation for he mother and 2. it releases oxytion in the brains for the baby which I belive helps in the emotionla growth of the baby. A new born baby doesentl not need any specialised massage, just gently apply any natural oil(no synthetic oil like Jhonson & Jhonson) and pour water on the baby, that will do. I had a C section and have been giving bath for my son right from the begining. You can take someones help for pouring the water, but the touch must be the mothers. Hope this helps.
