My kid is 3 yr old n we are looking for school admission in Airoli..

As per our knowledge so far.. we collected below info, please correct if anyone knows some else..
NHSS -Heard lots of about  high fee and frequently change in staff,
NHP -is good, but getting admission is difficult since many r trying for that
DAV - good school, more focused on study, again lottery system for admission
(admission postponed due to govt circular)

Please add more inputs ...

Same here. Of late the hike in fees has created some issues with parents but it has good reviews. nhps is tough to get admission. Dav timing is weird . Its 1:30 pm for the junior sections as per their website. Not suitable for me as I m working.

As per below news admissions should start from April 2014. DAV has stopped for the same reason. But NHSS admission are going on. FYI their fees are 72K with 35K as admission fees and rest as annual fee. Quite high campare to their reviews.

I am shifting to Mumbai . and prefereing to stay in let me know Whats the Review of Datta Meghe World Academy(DMWA), Airoli, ?? and Also NHSS.. is it worth paying the kind of fees they are charging??

Which class admission and board you are looking for. There are four schools in Airoli with CBSE board DAV, NHSS, DMWA and NHP
DAV is having brand name but they have 60-70 childrens in one class and fees are less approx 20 lower than NHSS and NHP.
If you don't have issue for fees then I would suggest you go for NHSS and NHP else go for DAV or DMWA.
DMWA doesnt take one time admission fee but fees are higher around 40 K.

Thanks @2806... I am looking for admission for my son into 2nd Std. Fees seems to be similar for both DMWA and NHSS except the one time Admission Fees which not there in DMWA... How are the facilities compared in DMWA and NHSS...?

Hi pkgdk
my daughter going to NHSS-Airoli (3rd std). I shifted her to this school last year in 2nd std and I am happy with her overall development including academic. I don't know about DMWA. The class strength in NHSS is 35.

Hi Kalpan and 2806, --- Got my son admitted into NHSS in 2nd Grade for Next Year. Thanks for the feedback..HI @ DDe13.,Since my son's admission was for II nd std , they gave him a 1 hr written test comprising of Maths, English and Hindi..for and interaction was more or less communicating with parents and Child to know each other. I think for KG sections they wd just try understand how much the kids know and how they inteact....All the Best

Hi ,
really confuse for the admissions.
my hubby is against nhss due to high fees. N even me thinking is it worth to spend so much fees for KG kids,
even after enrolling to such schools kids need to go for other classes n all ( as per reviews from other parents)
DDe13 let's us know ur experience for ur son

DDe13 2013-12-17 11:31:51

Hi Shri,

I really dont know.

My husband doesnt have the time to go looking for schools in Airoli and all is left to me to manage.

I zeroed in on NHSS and NHPS is difficult to collect forms.  I know the fees are quite high but do we have any better options. I dont want my kid to travel much and at the same time want a good school.

I dont know what to do. But I think I will stick to NHSS. :(

We are shifting to Nerul very shortly and I am looking for admission of my daughter in Sr. Kg class for next year in the schools at Nerul and would like to go for CBSE Board.  Heard a lot about Apeejay School and Delhi Public School at Nerul. Can anybody help advise regarding the process of admission in these schools and suggest any other good schools nearby.

can someone tell me when the new session classes start in NHSS.
Is it april or June ?

KALPAN 2013-12-30 10:42:20

At NHSS airoli, it starts in April (from last year they started this.) When I admitted her for 2nd, it was June only. In NHSS Thane, it may be June this year since the school started last year only. U need to chek with the respective school.

Avoid DMWA. Huge communication gap between dmwa n parents. Will get frustrated within year if enrolled.
