Hi Nivu.. She is in Jr. KG at Playmate.. so far so good as she enjoys going to school and its quite close to where i stay!
great to know. just wanted to ask whether English speaking is encouraged/ compulsory.....
i m planning to put my daughter in gokuldham.
wanted some information ... i have mailed u on ur personal email id. please help me out.
Hi everybody, I am new on this group, but probably living in Goregaon for more than anyone in this group - unless someone has lived in GokulDham for 33 years.... I have.... oddly, I am now asking for reviews on schools around GokulDham because I didnt join the school 33 yrs ago and studied in St. Thomas High School Instead - my name was to be the first on the register of the GD school which was scary for my parents at the time. I live abroad now and am returning home and now - life's a full circle and I need to get my daughter admitted into Grade 2 of a CBSE or ICSE school. Can anyone please help and give me even a sort of grading for the following schools:
Gokul Dham - ICSE
Ryan International - ICSE
Lakshadham - SSC
Yashodham - SSC
St. Xaviers - SSC
Vibgyor - ICSE
Incidentially, Gokuldham and Yashodham schools are 1 min away from my home.... so its really confusing... my personal preference would always be my own St. Thomas... but I am trying not to choose SSC. Please help.
first of all Ryan is not ti be considered. heard really sad reviews. gokuldham and lakshdjam are both icse .... both good but by what i have realised from my su rvey is that the higher income groups are shifting their child to vibgyor or preferring the same as their first option.... i don't know anything about vibgyor but gokil and laksh are good schools, though the crowdd people say is quite average.
Im finding difficult to decide to choose between St Francis D Assisis (ICSE ) Dahisar and Rustomjee Cambridge IGCSE dahisar,
anyone has idea which school is best between two ?? you replies and opinion will certainly help
hi Nivu... thanks for that insight. It does help understand and even put the options in perspective.... I will look at the Vibgyor option though i will probably lean towards Gokuldham High.....
i think u have made a safe choice. please let me know how you plan to go about admissions for gokuldham? as the usual case here its difficult to get dmission in good schools unless u have secured in kindergarten ... i m also seeking admission in grade 1.
Need reviews for rbk school mira road, also when the academic year starts.
I have to admit my son in class 3 in goregaon east
can u plz tell which is a better school vibgyor malad or lakshdham
hope to get reply fast since have to decide earliest
hi nivu and indidee did u take admission in vibgyor or lakshdham
can you help me select between the two very very confused since my child is very bright and i want a school for his overall development .
Which school was your kid going to toll grade three? Regarding your query both are very good schools as per reviews. I have yet not shifted my child from children's Academy to either of these schools... But still keeping a tab on both of them. Vibgyor, as per my judgement, has an edge.
Hi.. My personal advice would be to look for a school that is more holistic in its teaching methods, teacher- student- parent feedback and good study in fun way, too much of techno school may sound good..but I feel exposing a child to technology much earlier in every way isn't right. Traditional methods are more better as they learn in a disciplined structured setting, that doesn't mean the typical methodology. But semi- tech is what I mean. Children are anyways going to be tech savvy.. the future is going to run on machines. I refuse to put my child in an all wifi and backlit teaching boards. They must know how to draw words imitating a teacher and will be less exposed to radiation and dependency on tech. But it is subjective. Just an opinion from my end.
I found this thread very useful.
I'll be shifting to Mumbai soon and so wanted to know which school is best near Goregaon east.
I checked on phone with many and all insist to come now which is not possible and I cant visit before 3rd week of Dec. Do you know of any school that gives admission during that time?
Need urgent help here for honestly good school.
Thanks for the valuable feedbacks given in the earlier posts. I reside in Jogeshwari-e and am looking for admission to Nursery for my son. Have applied for Gokuldham, Bai Kabibai (Bhavans) and Vissanji Academy. From Gokuldham we got an email that the application has been kept on hold and we will be intimated next month on Jan-15. I am very much interested in Raj Hans (Bhavans), however, not very hopeful, as did not get thru' last year as well. In the meanwhile, not to be left behind, we had applied to Vissanji Academy at Andheri-e and they have granted admission immediately. Now I am in a fix, as I have to confirm to Vissanji before 21st of this month, ie., Dec-21, Gokuldham second list will be out only on Jan-15 and Bhavans results will be out only on Jan-9. Can anybody throw' some light on Vissanji Academy - quality of teachers, teaching, attention to children etc. Moreover, I felt Vissanji, not having a brand quotient was quite expensive. Also do not know, if I pay the fees, in the interim if I get thru' either at Gokuldham or at bhavans whether they will refund the fees.. Any views pls. Thx.
anypone please feedback on vpms school airoli it is ICSE board school
My kids are currently going to gokuldham school...Planning to shift them to vibgyor high malad east...
