My baby is 1 year old .I stay at Ghatkopar - East. I would like to know which play school i should take admisssion.
I am sonali frm mumbai. I thnk yr baby is too small for any play school. Enjoy this phase with yr child now, its not gonna come back dear. If u want u shld look for a mother toddler program , in case any school conducts tht.
Thank your so much for your reply.
I have already joined mother todler's program with Kangroo kids. Admisions for june 2011 batch play group has alredy started. I wanted to decide between Euro kids & Kangroo kids.
So please let me know if you can help me on this
Well both the schools shortlisted by you are carrying a brand name, but trust me when i chose the playschool for my daughter in juhu , it was not among these brands though i had been to check the same in my area. I had shortlisted school on the below features:
1.Envoirnment : how clean it was ? how well it was ventilated in terms in case it was in a closed house kind of thing.
2.Teacher : How experienced & caring they were ?
3. Peer group : what kind of parents r coming !
4. Food : If they serve from the school , if yes whats the source ?
5. Teacher Student ratio
6. Activities they plan for the child for the year.
7. Development of the child : what focus is given for what age group.
I had put my child in Greenfields playschool in juhu when she was 2 yrs old which is one of the oldest & not a brand carrying school. the school is been for 27 yrs now.
Again Ronak, strong advice to you is always be alert for the developement of yr child as to what is he interested, what is upto in school. What areas is he doing well & enjoys a lot . Its very important to start understanding yr childs interest , development very early .
