......hey, I'm moving to Mumabi too, in October and have been going crazy looking for a school for my daughter who is currently studying in class I.
I seem to have hit a wall here.
Would be great if any information on mid-term admissions can be shared here. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I am aware that Billabong High Schools do consider mid-term admissions. I had also enrolled my son to Jankidevi School at Andheri in December, 2000. And especially since your child is in the Grade 1, it shouldn't be a problem.
All the best!
Thanks Reyna : ) Will include Billabong in my list of schools to target.
is billabong school is CBSE/ICSE/state board pl give me informations
Billabong, to the best of my knowledge, follows the ICSE board. I think they also offer the IB curriculum as an option.
hey, i just moved to thane 3 weeks back...ive put my daughter in lodha school in thane...for lkg...its a new school, less students....u might get admissions there...www.lodhaschool.com
thanks 4r all the replies.i am moving to powai n have zeroed on hiranandani foundation 4r my 6 year old.lets see what happens when i actually reach n search.it seems there r lots of schools which give admissions only problem is the extraordinary high registration fees that runs to lakhs.good education doesnt come free it demands a price.keep me posted .
I am a mother of an 8-year-old... and very well understand the confusion and tension involved before zeroing in on the most suitable school for our darlings.. I had experienced the same about four years back when i had to relocate myself to Mumbai from Bhopal... I reside in Powai right now.
Hey neelakshi.. Hiranandani seems to be a good school but what i have heard from people is that to get into it u should either be a resident of hiranandani or should have influence at higher levels...
I would like to suggest two more schools to you and the other parents who are looking for mid-term admissions.. One is Prime Academy which follows an ICSE curriculum, located in Andheri East.... another one is S.M.Shetty School in Powai which has SSC and IGCSE boards.... hope this information would be useful to all u parents out there.. All the best
thanks a ton rechu.i will certainly look into the options.
So where did u finally get admission for your Kid ?
Also....did u try Heeranandani ...whats the admission criteria there?
I Plan to shift to Powai in April this year
Look forward to your inputs
