My son will be going to Jr. KG at Hirananandani Foundation School and Thane. Can anyone provide me a feedback on the school?

it's a very good school. my friends' son also goes to that school as she is a resident of that complex. i was looking for that school but as my son will also go to same class but fortunately he got an admission in j.k. singhania. it's a good school with very well trained teachers.. but very strict abt rules.

Thanks! That is a relief... I am going to staying at the complex and since m working... i didnt want my child to go anywhere outside... so was just worried if i had made the right decision..

I feel, Singhania school is got too big to manage. No doubt it used to be very good school but it is not good anymore. Quality of education is gone down drastically. I recommend Hiranandani School.

Does Hiranandani School admits childrens who are not resident in the Hiranandani Estate or Meadows?

suja 2009-08-15 22:40:33

Hiranandani school normally dosen't give admissions to non residents unless there is some strong recommendation.....

 Hi atay,

I'm new to this blog and glad to see that someone is moving to Hiranandani school from U.S. Guess both of us are in the same boat since even my child will be going in 3rd grade and we are also planning to move in May2011. What a coincidence..huh:)

If you can, please pm me your email id, so that we can be in touch. Atleast, I'll have someone to relate to in difficult times. Thanks and have a great day!!

Hi Ria

Did your kid get admission in Heernandani school ? Are u staying at rent there ...so does it help in getting admission even if u stay in rent ?

would really appreciate your inputs as we are also planning to move to Mumbai in April and will stay around Powai area. I have a 8 year old son who will join Class 3 now.

Dear All

My daughter is studying in  IPC ( jr. KG) under cambridge university. studies under these curriculam is based more on practise rather than books. she is defenetly loving the curriculum and we too are quite fine with it - probably too young to understand much. However, the entire system of IGSC is so new here that it worrys us for her future such as- what next after her Std - X / std- XII? will she be eligible for all the competative examination here.??  we were thnking of moving her to an ICSE School, which is very renowed of being strict about studies.. in dilemma     ..please advice...

Thanks, Sophie

Hi There - we are moving from the UK next year and my son will be 7 - we are looking at Hiranandani school in Powai and i was hoping thre would be some other children who wren't originally from India- I guess most new kids from the US are from Indian parentage - my two boys are very british - and blond so they will be easy to spot.  I have had real trouble contactign the school to any real effect - very rude - but i hear this is normal - also apparently you can't visit the school before you apply - which is totally alien to me, so any encouragement will  be reatefully received!

Good luck with your relocation

kind regards

Hi there - I have been contacting the school too and i did eventually get hold of someone  who explained that you could apply in December  / January. It was hard to reach anyone and they haven't replied to my email so am really not sure what i think about the school to be honest.  Let me know how you get on. We are looking to move in  April next year and i will be visiting in january.  I am grateful too for any info about the school or Bombay Scottish Powai

kind regards

If there is transport facility in HFS Thane? Are there regular sports activities in school? Fees for 2nd standard?

BirS 2016-02-16 19:27:59

I do not have much information about HFS Thane, at present I am staying at Goregaon and soon will shift to GB Road. I visited this school few times at the time of my kids' admission and do not see any school bus. 2nd std fees is 70K/year.
