Admission in 1st Standard in a school in Thane

I would like to help you in this, but prior that I would like to know where do you exactly stay in Thane and are you looking for admission in a specific school?

First of all thanks for your reply.

I am currently not staying in Thane, however, I will move to Thane in around March 2011 and shall stay near Kachrali Talao area.

I am looking for my son's admission (in 1st standard) in a good school like Nalanda, Saraswati Highschool (English medium), Hiranandani Foundation school, A.K. Joshi school, Lokapuram Public School. I think Singhania school is out of my scope as I heard admission there is very difficult.

Hi Kishor,

If you are staying at Pachpakhadi then  Saraswati High School is a very very good school.Every year there are toppers in Maharashtra board from this school and same is with A. K Joshi School.Lokpuram School would be too far for the child.Singhania school is also a very good school and its not out of scope for anybody.Admissions at Singhania are purely on lottery system, in your case your child needs admission in 1st std and the procedure is that your child would pass through some tests and interviews if there is a vaccancy.I havent heard much about Nalanda school will find out and let you know.

Vasant Vihar is an excellent school and extremely well organized and managed.They have experienced teachers and takes care of overall development of the child.

we tried in vasant vihar for Nursery 2011-12 batch but unfortunately we didn't got admission.I stay in Kolbad near vikas complex.I guess now i would need to try for Jr KG next yr ..what are the good english medium schools in Thane nearby by area.I guess A.K Joshi,singhania,saraswati ,vasant Vihar

any other schools?also where exactly is saraswati english medium school located

Even I could not get admission for my son in Vasant Vihar for Nursery. I also stay near to Vikas Complex. Last year they have given admission to the kids staying in this year. Dont know their criteria for this year.

we were also taken my surprise as last year from our soc. "Mahavir Umang" 1 gal got the admission so we were quite sure...This year i guess no of vasant vihar students are more i guess...but i think we should wait for couple of weeks more..Their might be some who wont take admission,lets keep our fingers cross...

If not then i will be ttying for Jr KG next year in AK Joshi,Saraswaithi,singhania
