Till what age kids can go to After School care center

Hi all,

My son is going to a After school care since he was 3 years old. Now he is around 6 years and I am thinking till what age he can be sent to the after school care center. The After school Care Center is a nice one and he also enjoys there..but I have seen less kids going to after school care center after a certain age...so I was wondering what may be the reason behind that....and some alternative ways to After School Care center.

Your suggestions are welcome. Please post your thoughts on this.
