Yes, It is very useful. You can make him  write.  All the exam formalities are taken care by the school. It is based on their school syllabus.

 do all schools follow this system as I dont think my daughters school offers this exam

Hi Shab,

You can also approach  the school and request it to conduct the IAIS exam . They can get in touch with the concerned people. It will benefit many children. I don't think the school needs to pay anything to conduct these exams. Only the students registered will have to pay for the concerned subjects.
