 Hi Vans,

I think, you could make a big mask of cat with whiskers and dress her up in full black or brown.
You coud attach a tail too. These days, u get fur stoles in the market. You could cut a small piece and attach it to her back and tell her to walk on hands  n legs...She could bend her knees and be comfortable..... She could speak a few words too while  me·ow·ing ..

All The Best !!!

Hi vans, for Dr.seuss's cat the main costume requires a red bow, hat and white gloves. you can make the bow with red felt material, use a pair of white gloves and for the hat, once my friend got it custom made in a tailoring shop. I think if you provide them with the red and white cloth material and some cardboard, tailor should be able to make one. For the suit you can make her wear any black jacket and trousers with white shirt.. Anywayfor  speech part you won't be having any issue as there are n number of  cat in the hat book series from where you can get rhyming sentences..

 thanks Roshmom & MIckey.....nice ideas....

but my daughter has refused to become cat.....instead she'll be butterfly......( she'll recite....... flitter flutter butterfly , flying in the big blue sky)

though i prepared  a sort of little speech for my son  for his character.
