I understand the anxiety that you are facing as a parent. In this situation, you have to be an advocate for your child. You have to speak up to get help for your child.
Direct Communication is the key here. Your child’s needs have to be addressed in a professional manner by the school and if you are not satisfied, you have to convey it across to them. If there is a possibility, do get in touch with the school social worker, psychologist or you could even meet up with the Principal and talk to them about your concerns about your child. Before you meet them, just make a small note on what exactly you want to convey to them and your expectations as a parent so that you do not feel more pressurised in that situation.
With a positive mind, I hope that they will do what is best for your child. If you are not satisfied with the school’s response then try again.
