SUGGESTION FOR DEVELOPMENTAL PEDIATRICIAN

Hello
My 2.3 yr son is showing red flags for autism. We have consulted pediatric neurologist according to whom he has borderline autism. This result is based on observation and no assessment done yet. We have visited Dr. Anjan Bhattacharya's chamber but he did not even observe my child and insisted to join his parental program which is not possible for us as of now. Therefore please suggest me a good developmental pediatrician in Kolkata where the assessment of my son can be done. Some are telling that proper assessment cannot be done before the age of 3 years. is it so?

Yes we have also heard that with age, the features can be noticed better than at a young age. We are consultating Dr Anindita Chatterjee at peerless . She is having a good chain of therapists who have definitely helped us a lot
Thank you very much for your reply. How old is your child? Have you gone through any assessment like CARS? What will be the right age for such assessment?
The doctor did not recommend CARS yet as she is showing very mild symptoms. We visited multiple doctors but no one suggested. But she had a detailed speech assessment. She is 4.4 years old currently
Ok sir. Thank you. Are you doing any kind of therapy like speech, OT etc for her? If you share your experience about such therapies it will be very helpful for me who is very new to such things. Are you doing any other kind of treatment like ayurvedic or homeopathy?

Dr. Mary Acharya sits in Fortis, Genesis , is good developmental paediatrician. If possible send your child to play school, regularly take him to parks , minimize (if possible , avoid ) screen time ( T V, mobile, any kind of virtual game).

My daughter is 2.8year now she has speech can speak but when she gets angry she lost her balance of speech and says gibberish..has tremendous tantrum..during her sleeps she used to cry..she gets frustrated very easily..I am really worried what to do..
