We are planning to move our children to Kennedy High Global, Bachipally.  They will be joining in the 6th and 10th class in the academic year 2011-12.  I am unable to find any reviews about the standard of education for higher classes.

I would appreciate any reviews, please.

Amarinder 2011-02-15 20:15:17

All I can say, they have a fantastic campus and good facilities for students. I too am thinking of putting my child there but am in two minds.

Amarinder, why u r in two mind? Is there any particular reason?

@ Sunanda: As far i know they have good sports facility but don't have much idea abt education in higher classes..Pre-primary they have good curriculum, but having long hours for small children.

MSunanda 2011-02-16 19:35:45

Thanks, Amarinder.

I agree with you, they have a good campus and also the transport facility is good.  However, I am in two minds, as well.  Cos, my elder child will be moving in the 10th standard.

So, not able to decide.  I have couple of day's time.  Let's see.

Thankz, Charumaheswari.

We are still thinking, moreover my elder child is not interested in moving, as it is just one more year.

hi everyone,

my kids are in kennedy the global school, bachupally in 8th and 4th classes. we stay at miyapur. they joined last month. we have come from singapore. they are finding it difficult to adjust. they daily complain about the teachers hitting(slapping hard / hitting with a scale) and abusing the children verbally. it didn't happen to my kids, but they are not able to see the other children getting punished like that. i heard that the teacher slaps the children very hard for not bringing the book, some other teacher goes on hitting the children lightly one by one who are within his reach with a scale on thier back or arms when they are writing. he just giggles and says to my child that itz very common here and not to worry.

as they never came across this kind of treatment neither at home nor in the school they get frustrated and disappointed at the end of the day. moreover, most of the teachers do write spelling mistakes on the board. they are asking the children to just learn the exercises from the back of the lessons and worksheets given and specifically announce not to read/learn the lesson. ofcourse, if the child knows how to study, he/she will definitely learn and understand the lesson and the concepts thoroughly.

i feel that we got lured by the lush green lawns and the outward appearance and the pleasing attitude at the reception. after hearing the very first day that the teachers are punishing the children, i went to the school and spoke to the management. they completely deny that such kind of things are happening in the school and they promised me all sorts of things. later the next day i came to know that the concerned people whom i spoke to are also treating the kids the same way. but they are taking care not to come near my kids.

i am planning to shift my kids to good school where the education standard is good and there is no corporal punishment in any form. howz chirec/bvb/dps/intl schools? is there any chance to get admission in the next academic year (june,2011-12). please advise. thanks

hi merry,

I want to know more about Kennedy school.I want to join my son  in   the  residential.

So,please give me advice about that if you know.Thanking you.

 Former member 2011-02-18 17:10:54

Strange to know that teachers punished so hard in tdy's age...well i think in Intl school u can get admission easily as new academic session is upcoming also... chk from bvb bcz they have their particular dates of issuing the forms nd admission test...

merry 2011-02-19 14:20:01

i don''t know much abt residential. anyway, i'll try to find out. only today morn we went to kennedy to talk with the dance teacher who man-handled my child for no valid reason. they said that they will check... let me see the response. moreover, the teachers throw the books, pencils, chalks etc whatever is in their reach. one teacher threw the notes in the dustbin out of anger that the child didn't do the work.

the standard is very different there. just learn the exercises from the back of the lesson and follow the worksheets. thatz it.

Thank you for your valuable remarks.  After reading your comments, I feel that our decision of not putting our kids into Kennedy High was a good decision.

Thanks once again.

bindubabu 2011-05-21 23:24:54

Thanks Merry for the comments. One such comment is enough to make decision faster!!

We were in dilemma as the fees are high, but infrastructure and everything else was good. Though we were expecting a relocation (not sure  though) we were thinking of putting my daughter to LKG there, but your review helped us drop down one from our shortlist.

Only parents whose kids are studying in particular schools can share the actual atmosphere of the school. Thus it would be great if each parent writes reviews about the schools where their kids are studying.

Thank you Merry..

iam astonished to read the comments of meery because my both the children have joined this year now iam worried as i payed the fees i won't be able to take out my children now advise me friends  how to tackle these type of situations like teacher throwing child's book in the dustbin and all.... iam very much worried now

mickey 2011-05-26 08:24:31

 Hi Gunnalu,

Pl do not get worried. Keep track of the  teachers' behaviour  from your children and their friends too. How are your children finding the school and the teachers in general ?

If the anwer is negative, pl approach the Principal with other parents and warn the school of dire consequences if the  teachers  tend to misbehave with kids. No school can get away with such kind of treatment with kids. Now that u have already paid the fees, pl ensure to follow up  the teachers and other activities in general and try to keep yourself informed.

bindubabu 2011-05-26 11:07:14

 Dear Gunnalu,

How old are your kids? which classes they are studying in? I heard kennedy global is good when it comes to classes under 6th.

Even my neighbor said, her friend's kids study there and like it very much. So dont worry.

But once your kids start going to school, please do drop your experiences.

Thank you

gunnalu 2011-05-27 20:02:22

gunnalu 2011-05-27 20:04:08

hi mickey,

thank you very much for ur sugesstions.

Saimohan 2011-07-29 00:32:00

Its been 2 months since your last comment.

Is there any change in the situation?

what is the experience of your younger one who is studying 1st class?

I want to join my daughter in 1st class and has 'Kennedy High Global School' as one of the option. But, after reading Merry's comments, i got shocked.

Please share your experiences in the last 2 months.

gunnalu 2011-07-30 22:14:02

hi saimohan,

my younger one is quite happy with his teacher. its totally depends on the teacher. work load is heavy compare to other schools like jain, drs.activities are not much focoused in the school they give it has home child never complainrd about punishment by his teacher.i will not give five stars to this school i can give two to three stars.

drmom 2011-11-24 12:14:00

Hello gunnalu, merry and all,

Plz share your recent experiences with Kennedy High. I am looking at it for std 2. So, how caring and co-operative are the teachers? My kid is very sensitive and has grown up in the caring environment of a montessori...if the teachers scold the kids for trivial reasons, then its a matter of concern for me. Also, how regularly do they give homeworks. Since someone pointed about spelling mistakes, how good is there standard of spoken English.

Pls do share your experiences. Thanks.

gunnalu 2011-11-26 14:05:07

hai drmom,

i will not say iam not happy with the school. i keep always in touch with teachers so that they will not bring any wrong complaints to me. school hours are very bad my children goes around 7.40 and comes back by 5.00. i understood one thing we need to be very alert when our children are studying in this school. teacher has given physical punishment to my elder one.i spoke to her on that day and made it clear that next time this should not happen.after that she stopped giving attention to my child. notes have been not getting corrected on time. iam really fed up.iam waiting for this session to get complete.i will change the school.i advise you not to take chance.

Vpokalwar 2011-12-19 06:48:27

I am planning to give admission to my daughter in Kennedy, but after reading these reviewes I am concerned now. could anybody share their latest/last year experiences so that I can decide on mine one.

shailajakaranam 2011-12-19 07:40:57

Please check Sentia the global.. My neice is studying there and we are very happy.

Smitasi 2011-12-21 17:47:25

Here come another review for kenndy high global

We went for the interaction session in keneddy high.In 5 mins they were able to tell us that my kid has speech delay, does not have fine motar skills and blah blah .I cant keep myself from laughing. What the hell!! my doctor also has not told me these many years what they told me in 5 mins and they took 2000 rs also for telling me the same

:)ha ha ha ha

Smitasi 2011-12-21 17:53:08

Last but not the least :)

They still gave admission for my kid to thier school. OMG

May be they will correct all these problems and charge us for that   :)

gunnalu 2011-12-21 19:34:40

i agree with u smitasi

teachers are very poor in managing children. if a child does a silly mistake also they complainto the parents.i faced this. pathetic it was . the chhildren in that school are using very bad language.which my child also picked everyday iam counselling him not to use those words. we r just waiting for the session to get over

picean09 2012-02-08 09:39:28

I am planning to join my son in PPII this year in kennedy global. after reading your reviews i am totally confused. I read your reviews and want to know your opinion abt the school in studies aspect . how is there standard compared to the other schools.

comparing to the other schools in this area i felt this is better than other, please let me know your opinion and is it the same condition with other parents also.

bandhu 2012-02-08 13:26:38

Hi Karthik,

I will suggest you to visit Silveroaks and Oakridge these schools are also having good infrastructure and as per my interaction with parents they are happy.

jandhy 2012-02-11 08:22:32

I have my son studying in the 12th std at Kennedy High. My experience with the school is very bad. The teachers and principal are big cheats. Never trust this school.

I am very disappointed with the academic standards and extra curricular activities. I sincerely suggest parents not send the kids to this school definitely in to higher classes X and above.

gunnalu 2012-02-11 22:02:10

hi friends,

i accept that kennedy is not good school. my child had tough time in this school this academic session i am going to take them out.even for primary classes also teachers are worst.
