Does anyone know the fee structure of Grade 1 to Grade 4 for Open Minds school in Hyderabad? They are planning to start a school in Mumbai next year but are not disclosing the fee structure yet.
Which is this Open Minds school.....But u said its Birla Edutech ltd. school.......then it seems u are referring to Birla globetoters in Jubilee Hills.. Is it?
If you are referring to the above school, then its a playschool...with approx. Rs .1 lakhs includes snacks n transport too(no options). They are yet start a full fleged school somewhere near Golconda Fort as told by the Principal till last year June..No info..is still available on their site.
http://www.openminds.in - Their website indicates "Open Minds, Hyderabad" - so it seems their school is going to open soon or so it seems !
http://www.hindu.com/2010/02/04/stories/2010020458380200.htm - not sure if next year in 2010 meant 2011 or sometime in future :)
there is open minds--birla school come up in kollur, beautiful campus and heard tht teching is also the best.but,it is on the higher side.though yash birla had launched this school for the middle class, quoting around 50 k annually ,the actual fee structure is very high
annual fees -- 47000/-
tution fees --- 70000/-
food fees --- 20000/-
one time deposit -- 55000/-
transport --- 30000/-
and this does not include uniforms
Does anyone have the details of fee structure(*GRADE 1 through Grade 5) ?
Hi, from their website, this school looks very good.anybody's kid going to this school. since this is new school, if parents can provide feedback, it will be really helpful.
I have been to their kollur campus . They offer integrated curriculum(CBSE + Cambridge). The campus is very good. Here are some of the details
1. As of now the student strength is 65 kids(*overall)
2. Fee structure details
Onetime Fee 50K(*donation) + 10K(*refundable deposit) + 5(Registration
Annul Fee 1.5L (*includes food and stationary) + 30K for transportation.
3. They are slight flexible on onetime fee and the they are willing to offer discount on the tution fee in the subsequent years.
4. 8-10% annula hike/rise in the feeds.
They really have invested good amount of money on the campus.
* the only constraint is the distance and their current student strenght.
Did any one of your Kids studying in Samashti, kollur campus ? I visited their school and pretty impressed with their infrastructure... I am looking for feedback from parents on this school..
1. School is built in 13 acres and NCC is the management.
2. Have separate blocks for primary, middle n secondary and Indoor activities
3. All classrooms are digitized and equipped with centralized AC. Have separate classrooms for arts&craft, music, dance,yoga....
4. Students strength is not more than 25 per class.
5. As of today, total strength of the school is around 200.
6. Fees is nominal, coming around 80K +30 K transport for PP1
Me too looking for options for my child to get in to standard 1, from
infrastructure point of view Birla Open minds are not comparable with any
other schools in Hyderabad . It’s very impressive and Principle is taking time to
explain all the concerns/queries of the parents ...
the biggest concern is distance and fees.... i stay in Aparna Sarovar
Nallagandla and the distance to school is 12 km and takes 25 min ...
Infrastructure -Already in place
Birla brand - People in India can recognize the Birla Brand unlike any other
schools in Hyderabad which came up recently
Teachers-Students ratio: 1:15
Dedicated activity rooms: Unlike other schools for every activity separate
rooms already available
Teachers: Qualified teachers unlike makeshift arragement...(claimed by the school)
Distance: It is in remote place, incase of emergency if you want to pick the
child only mode of transport is personal vehicle there are no auto's or buses available
Fee: Higher side as compared to other recent international schools
Admission fee- Currently getting exempted fully for corporates)
Tuition fee: 70,000
Food-30000 (Breakfast and Lunch)
Trasport-30000 to 35000
The fees includes stationery and books , event fees etc etc
No other extra fee apart from Uniform cost...
I see that Annual fee and food cost is very higher side so in total comparison
to any other schools annually we need to pay INR 50000 more than any other
schools (Manthan, Phonex Green, DPS etc)
Number of Students â€" For the year 2014-15 they are expecting 100 plus students
- so in a positive note i think they put all the efforts to get the name and
personal attention may be there (Teacher student connect-which currently
principle is claiming one of the most important factor )
I am considering for my kid for this school and at the same time i am trying to
negotiate on the fees further if incase we can get it ….
I've put my child in Open Minds. She starts grade 1 on Monday. So far I am very happy. We had a great orientation day. I feel it's a great decision to pick this school :) let's hope I am proved right !
