Hi Parents,

We are in a dilemma as to what curriculum to choose for my kid who will be going to 3rd grade this comming academic year.

We will be moving from US to Hyd. If we join her in CBSE will she be able to cope up with the languages. Currently she can't read or write Hindi or Telugu. Our thought process is since she is still in 3rd grad may be she will pick it though it might be hard in first year.On the other hand we are not very clear on the advantages of IB curriculum . Most likely we might stay in India till kids under Grad.

We are thinking of Glendale .Any opinion , suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

UStoHyd,

I cannot tell you which is good, but can share my opinion.  You should choose the curriculum based on your plans for graduation. If you want your kids to go back to US for undergrad, then it is better to go with Cambridge International Curriculum.  However, if you want your kids to study in India and write the competitive exams for engineering, Medicine, Business.... and do their Bachelors degree in India, then you should consider CBSE.

Hope it helps,

Siree

Thanks for your responses. How does IB help with undergrad abroad. I mean is it help with admissins in Us colleges or it helps in easy transition  in college.

Cambridge is by far the best one . The child can adjust both in Indian board and also if you plan to move abroad . Their approach Is very practical and make the basic fundas of the kids clear
