Hi Neeru, For which grade ? Chinmaya is done with LKG admissions this year.

Pl see the detailed review of Chinmaya Vidyalaya written to RSV and Aniki

The fees is quite economical. It varies between 40 to50 K  depending on the class. Higher classes admission depends on vacancywhich can be enquired in the month of Feb/Mar'11.

Hi Mickey,

How many students do usually Chinmaya accomodate in a class?

Is this number any better than BVB?

neeruchowdary 2010-12-22 14:28:53

hi mickey,

am seeking admission into LKG for my kid whose date of birth is 11.02.2007.

the fees waht u hav mentioned is for one term r for entire year?

what abt d communication level for students in the school?

please reply

SriniHYD 2010-12-22 22:39:40

Neeru: admissions for Chinmaya closed for LKG for 2011-12. 40-50K is per annum fee not term fee

mickey 2010-12-23 09:09:04

Yes Neeru, Srini has put it right. The fee is per annum including admission and term fee. The communication skills are good too.

On average there are around 35 students, i guess.  It is better than BVB in terms of strength.

rjb 2010-12-23 09:53:48

Thanks Mickey.

You are right. I heard BVB usually have 40 students in each class.

Don't you think 35 would be little too many for small kids in LKG? They need little more attention compared to children in higher classes..

mickey 2010-12-23 10:47:47

Hi Rjb,

The strength which i mentioned above was of middle and high school. I have no idea about LKG and UKG.  Iam sure, It will be less.  Will let u know in a day or two,

The interviews of  LKG in Chinmaya are over. The  results will be declared on 3rd Jan'11.

Thank you very much Mickey.

Hi Mickey,

I read in one of threads that Chinmaya doesn't provide Transport.

I want to admit my son in 1st Class in Chinmaya, I live in Mehdipatnam.

Do children come to school from Mehdipatnam?

Is it easy manage child transport to school?

How much does Private Autos colect from each individual?

What is admission process for Class I? Roughly how many seats can be available.

Your help is highly needed.

Thanks & Regards,

shankalz 2010-12-24 11:20:17

@ Mickey : Chinmaya results will be declared today evening at 4pm.

mickey 2010-12-24 12:29:21

Thanks Shankalz.  I was also told 3rd Jan by one of my friends. Are they displaying 2 lists ??  rgds, mickey

mickey 2010-12-24 12:34:52

Hi Manonash,

Yes, there are children from Mehdipatnam too. It will be roughly Rs 1000. You can always negotiate.  You will also find private vans and school autos near the school.
Pl see to it that they have only 6 children in the auto.

For class 1 admissions, you will have to contact the school in the month of Feb/Mar'11. I don't know how many seats are available in class 1 as of now. I will find out and let u know within one or two days.

Hi Mickey, I missed to take the application form for LKG for my kid at Chimaya Vidyalaya and I am feeling very sorry for that. By the time I came to know about the school the application's were closed. Is there any way to get the form now  or will there be any possibility that they have spot admission...

Any otherway out ....kindly let me know.

madhavi2010 2010-12-24 15:19:11

Hello Mickey,

Could you confirm on the LKG fee in Chinmaya Vidyalaya... is that 40-50K???

"The fees is quite economical. It varies between 40 to50 K  depending on the class. Higher classes admission depends on vacancywhich can be enquired in the month of Feb/Mar'11."

in the other thread you mentioned the fee for Class 1 is 14K+

"For class 1 fee was 14,100 for the whole year. I think it would be around 15K for class 1 this year. The admission fee also would be nominal."

mickey 2010-12-24 16:59:39

Hi Madhavi,

The fees which I have mentioned was the term fees.  I have the fee structure for the academic year 2010 - 2011 which is as follows  which can be paid in 2 instalments.

Std   I to IV    Rs 17,000
Std  V to VII   Rs 20,000
Std VIII to X    Rs 21,000
Std  XI to XII   Rs 22,000

The admission fees was 25K last year. I am not aware of this year’s admission fees. It will be told when the results will be announced. I am sure it will not be too high.

The fees which I mentioned in the other thread was including admission fees.

Hi Aspire
I don't think there is any concept of spot admissions. Please visit personally and talk to the Principal after the school hours.

The school had given the notification in Eenadu and The Hindu  newspaper before issuing the application forms. I too had mentioned in parentree threads.

Never mind Aspire. There are other schools too where u can try. DPS will be issuing forms in first week of Jan. Kindly follow up the interested schools.  Pl keep track of the below thread where many parents are communicationg about the forms.

HI all and Mickey,

Is it possible to secure a seat in chinmaya vidyalaya for UKG.Any one successful in getting seat in UKG in chinmaya?

Any reviews on DAV jubilee Hills ?

thanks in advance

mickey 2010-12-26 18:03:39

Hi Snehita,

Chances are remote but yes it is possible if there are vacancies. Last year one parent who was a member of pt managed to get her daughter admitted.  Pl check ur inbox.

DAV Jubilee Hills is good too. It is till class 7. My neighbour's son studied here for 2 years before moving to Safilguda branch.

rjb 2010-12-26 19:17:57

Hi Mickey,

I believe there are many DAV schools here in Hyderabad. Which are some of the good ones among them?

mickey 2010-12-26 19:36:53

DAV Safilguda and  DAV Kukatpally are good ones.   rgds, mickey

SriniHYD 2010-12-26 19:47:28

Is there DAV in Jubilee Hills. I thought there is one in Banjara HIlls (Road #14 area). Its fee are nominal (around 10-15K) but admission (non-refundible) fee is 50K. They have only till 7th grade after wards, kids are transferred to SafilGuda branch

mickey 2010-12-27 09:00:11

Srini, u r right.  DAV is in  Banjara Hills and not Jubilee Hills.   Rgds, mickey
