In Hyd too ,most of the schools stress on extra-curricular activities apart from academics. Only a handful of State syllabus schools are totally into academics. Almost all CBSE and ICSE schools have 5 day week for pre-primary and some of them have for higher classes too.
DPS obviously has a better infrastructure and facilities compared to MVM . DPS will also cost you around a lakh like chirec. Its better u personally enquire about the admission into these schools if interested. They might consider at times .
If you are apprehensive about Euroschool ,u can try Vikas or Kennedy Global .
You have a look at Sri Chaitanya Techno school , DAV or Sanghamitra which are near Kukatpally.
Sentia also would be a better choice in madhapur area. If u r willing to spend and send ur child till Banjara Hills, u can try Meridian too. Admissions are going on.
Hi Buji !
I am adding you to my friends list. Just check out.. will forward my id...Mickey
If we compare DPS , cheric and vikas what will be ur priority in experience.
CHIREC ,DPS ,VIKAS would be my priority. Check your inbox.
When i calld up the madhapur branch they told me it is till 7th std. Check out at www.euroschoolhyd.com for details.
May i know about the standard of study and the fee structure at Vidyaranya High School
Meeta, we live in California and are planning to return relocate to India.
We are seeking admissions for our girls, 5.5 yrs and 4.5 yrs, for school year 2011.
Can any one help me get in touch with Vidyaranya school Hydrebad?
Do contact the school in the month of October 2010 for next academic year admissions. You can fill up the online form with all the details and get in touch with them.
Thanks for your reply Mickey.
I filled the forms. Also got the telephone numbers from AP telephone exchange and called them. Was lucky enough to speak to a person and was told that usually Vidyaranya is pretty full and not many people leave the school. The person I spoke to was nice and answered all my questions, but they wanted to meet in person and they don't seem to have space. So I don't know. I REALLY like the school, from what I heard about the school.
If not Vidyaranya, you can also try Chaitanya Vidyalaya. It is similar to Vidyaranya. The schools follows ICSE and has no uniform concept like Vidyaranya. Chaitanya Vidyalaya is in Lower tankbund area. It is close to Vidyaranya.
My daughter is 3.6 years old and is studying LKG in Aurobindo International School, Nallakunta . It has no uniform and no exams. But I am not happy with this school as I do not know what is happening in the school and what is being taught for LKG kids. I met the teachers . But no use. They are not teaching Alphabets or numbers and still teaching rhymes.
So would like to admit my daughter for UKG in another school. you have mentioned your daughter is studying at Vidyaranya High School. Could you pls let me know how is studies at this school , what is their procedure, what is being taught to kids when comapre to other schools ( i knew it has no exams). When the school do not conduct exams, how the kids learn when compare other school which have exams.
Pls help me. Thanks in advacne
I visited Creeks,Kennedy and Sentia today.
I am impressed by Sentia and then Creek and then Kennedy (Same as my preference order).
I like the atmosphere in Sentia and they strictly following 25 people per section where as Creek is 30+ and Kennedy 35+.
All the other aspects also looks good in Sentia.
I didnt see commercial aspects in any matter and the staff looks professional.
So, I almost decided on Sentia.
Thank you so much Mickey for your valuable suggestions which help me to zero down on it.
now same case with me shifting to Hyderabad from delhi,
Looking for my kids admission in class 7 and 11th
