hi , I am returning to India (next year)with my 13 & 10 years kids , who is going to 7th and 4th next year . Can any one please suggest me to
1. Which curriculum I have to choose?
2.what kind of schools I have to choose?
3.Before coming to India how should I prepare my kids? Do they need extra tuitions in their subjects?
4. How do they adjust with languages?
5. Is it easy to adjust in the school?

    Thank you in advance.

Even I am looking for the same info. My Kids are also 12 & 7. Looking for 7th Standard and 2nd Standard. Currently both are styuding in UK and return back next year.

The main challenge is how they will manage the language subjects (Hindi & Telugu). Looking for schools which can offer French as second subject.

Hello all, recently moved.here is some info from our experience:

1. Choose a school based on language knowledge of your kid ( Telugu and/or Hindi ). State syllabus needs 2 languages which could be a challenge based on grade and prior knowledge.
2. International schools tend to give the best transition atmosphere, however most of them don't seem to care much about academics ( Just a personal observation ,  am sure there are exceptions )
3. Extra preparation is recommended for kids for languages if they haven't done them before..

Good luck.. Its a fun and exciting experience and transition. Tends to be tougher for the older kids .. ( more than 6th grade )..

Hello usretun1,

Thanks for writing on the page your input will be very helpful. I appreciate if you could share information on schools.
I really don't want my kids to feel they are left out i want to make their experience and transition happy and joyful hence i want to choose a school and other after school activities which keeps them busy and happy just like the way they are doing here in USA. I am looking for 5 days a school most of the school website doesn't have the information.

Any information which you would share will be very helpful to us...
Thanks
