+ve's : Lower class strength, due to classroom size's they cant have more than 27-28 kids in each class. Decent infra considering the school location. Small/Mid size playground. It's under Pearson group, so syllabus and support comes from Pearson. Highly secure environment for kids.
-ve's : Teaching standards have visibly fallen in last three years, they had lots of teachers changing in last two years. Quality of teachers has fallen. The new principal is definitely working very hard, she is accessible and open for ideas and assures things will be smooth this year onwards. However some of the parents in other schools have also complained of drop in standards, so this looks to be a common problem all across.
We are left with only this school as an option for us..so we have to go ahead if there are no major drawbacks then this should be ok right? However we are considering for a short term ..as we are in the process of moving to canada through PR..so for short period does this suffice?
Hey Manasa, Hillside is a very good school. I am associated with the school for 4 years now, I saw how my child has improved with confidence. My child has come on leaps and bounds and I am very impressed with the teaching my child has and would like to say a big thank you to her teaching staff.
Thankyou for your valuable review. We have joined our kid into grade 1 into Hillside for next academic year.Kept hearing some mixed reviews about this school so confused on choosing this school. I feel so relived on your review.
