Dear Parents,
We are shifting to Sainikpuri (Secundrabad, Hyderabad) from next year onwards. Need your expertise in suggesting a school for my kid (boy) for Class II.
Priorities:
1. A school which focusses on all-round development of a Kid (especially in earlier years (till class V) which as I personally think is supercritical)).
2. More focus on personality development, making the kid confident & conquering the stage fear.
3. Involving the kid more in extracurricular activities, 21st-century skills, practical learning like STEAM etc.
4. Closer to Sainikpuri, Secundrabad. Don't want the kid to travel much considering the Hyderabad traffic.
Few schools which are in the vicinity & on which we have got decent feedback:
1. Gitanjali Devashala.
2. St. Andrews.
3. Johnson Grammar.
4. Oakridge Gachibowli.
5. Indus Universal School.
6. Others (pls recommend).
Request for a prompt revert as we are totally confused.

Recently i visited Oakridge Gachibowli campus . Along with the studies they are focusing more on personality development, extracurricular activities,making the kid confident & conquering the stage fear. But only concern is fee is very high (3.5+ lakh for PP1)
I did some research to join my kid in gintanjali devshala...
Johnson also good..in lbnagar branch my aunt works there..
Wen she went fr workshops she gathered info...
My kids r not in those school s as thy r much far from me..
U have any idea of schools sri Chaitanya and okadale pls te me
@Ashishbansal - please consider distance while deciding the school especially for younger kids, it's exhausting to travel 4 hours a day..Sainikpuri is quite far from Gachibowli area

My kids are studying in JGS-LB Nagar. Its very good school, with very nominal fee-structure.
But JGS-LB nagar branch has it campus in LB Nagar till V grade. From VI grade, the campus will be in Kuntloor, which is 12 KM's from LB Nagar. I would prefer JGS-ICSE Hubsiguda / Nacharam, which is very good (As my cousin's kids studied). This is better for you as you live near Sec'bad. ECA are also well maintained here.
DPS Nacharam is also better option.

However, there are mixed reviews from everyone so still couldn't decide. As mentioned, my primary requirement is for development of intra personal skills, overall skills development, sports and less distance from home.
I am plannjng to stay nearby Vayupuri, Sanikpuri or Cherlapally. If required, I can relocate and shift nearby to these schools.
Looking forward for a prompt support.

Hello Sir,We have recently shifted towards nagole and looking at the reviews i have taken admission in Johnson grammar Nacaharam (CBSE) and today iam not at all happy. . Earlier i was in sainikpuri and my son studied till 5th at Billabong High international.i always loved the way they took care of the children, great Ambience,extra curricular is too good.5 day week.yearly concerts.and more over counsellor Mrs.Shaila Ravindran is so sweet.
Now I'm searching for a good school and trying hard to get the admission at HPS Ramanthapur for 7th grade.If you are getting admission at HPS begumpet please go ahead without any 2nd option, if you dont get in HPS then second option is Foster Billabong's international .

He is going to class 1 so no problem of ICSE or CBSE.
But they HPS have announced the age group is 2013 June to 2014 may.my kid is born in 2013 march.

4.Requel ford international (bit costly but very good )

HPS begumpeth - Forms will be out by Feb.
Foster Billabong (Saket) - School tour was done & at length discussion with Class coordinator & councellor. Have some doubts, need to discuss with you.
Gitanjali Devshala - Forms are out. The assessment is on Saturday for 2.5-3hrs. Only 4-5 seats on offer.
Global India International School - As per them, the school will be too far for us. So, better to drop this option or we need to shift near the school.

Any feedback on Gitanjali schools (like CBSE / IB) branch apart from ICSE branch i.e. Devshala? I came to know, there is lot of pressure on students for studies...during interaction with couple of students they also mentioned the same that they need to slog...bit confused...as I don't want to put lots of pressure on kid at this age...
