hi all,
Have been through so many threads and reviews now but my head is still spinning and we are unable to decide.  We are relocating from Chennai to Hyderabad and are a working couple.  Both of us have jobs at Gachibowli and we wish to look for schools that are closer to this area.  Our kids will be going to Grade 4 and Grade 1 next year.  We shortlisted 3 to 4 schools in different fee ranges but are unable to reach a decision.

We have included transport and food for all fees for easier comparision below; it's annual fee all inclusive.

Phoenix Greens at Kokapet - about 2 lakhs
Shri Ram Universal School in Financial District - about 1.9 lakhs
Green Gables at Madhapur - about 1.7 lakhs
Meru International School at Chanda Nagar - about 1.6 Lakhs
Hillside (Pearson School) - about 1.3 lakhs

As far as budget goes, we can stretch and meet PG's fee but really want to know if it's worth it.  Coming from a Chennai background, this is a massive increase in the fee we were paying earlier.  Our kids go to one of the best CBSE schools in Chennai at about 1 L per year.  Can someone please shed some light?

Yes Hyderabad seems higher side of competition compared to Chennai and Bangalore. There is hype of International schools here..

But if we dont want to compromise with our kids.. we at last tend towards falling in to these schools which are higher side of 1+ lakh here ...

An average payment seat of Engineering college here takes about 1 lakh fee.. same with KG to 10th classes... Just to keep ourself feel that our kids are raising the bar.. above average schools... problem with our generation.

I also fall in to this prey from 50-60,000 budget to 1.2-1.5lakh budget.... just to make sure my kids are getting better attention (10:1 student teacher ratio)

Hi HariniRajeesh,

My kid will be going to 4th this academic year (2018-2019)
I am contemplating between Phoenix and Shri Ram. What criteria helped you to make a decision towards Phoenix

Need to decide this week and your inputs will be highly helpful

We decided to go with Phoenix Greens because we found the school to be more established - do consider that Shriram will be starting their 6th class only this year and are also yet to receive their CBSE affiliation.  These were the criteria for us to go with Phoenix.

Hello All,

I heard (not sure) Phoenix Greens kokapet reduced the school fees from 2018-19 academic year. Is someone who joined this year please let me know the exact fee structure?

chsp 2018-05-29 16:40:28

@pranay1 Phoenix Greens kokapet hasn't reduced school fees. They have restricted excessive hike in yearly fees to minimum hike :)

@harinirajeesh Your decision to choose Phoenix Greens is perfect from the schools you listed.
Phoenix Greens is no doubt a great school. My son studies there (now goes to 2nd grade). We like the school and standard of it is great when compared to some other schools you listed.

what is the admission procedure for Phoenix Greens.. looking for class 1 in 2019-20

pnayan 2019-01-07 11:28:21

Do you have information of admission and term fee details for year 2019-2020? Please share.

ARkumar 2019-01-30 21:11:58

Unfortunately they didn't reduced fee but they merged donation in fee structure.

It is good for pp1 and pp2 but not good for later grades, What my personal experience.

School didn't encourage sports much only Foot ball that is in girls and school coach more focus on girls foot ball which hav less competetion. And he have private coaching also

Aprt from this nothing in sports section....... And for studies it is less compared to other in subjects.. Only english is concern.
