Please suggest good schools for my daughter for year 2018-2019. She will be completing 5.3 Years by May 31,2018. I am looking for a decent school with manageable fees.
Sentia is good school with mix of activity, academic and communication skill. They have good ground for activities. only complain for this school from parents (from our apartment 3-4 kids study) are lots of pressure on kids in terms of homework and frequent assessment.
Global Edge (kphb) is very good in academic but hey dont have ground and activities also not enforced religiously. Not sure about academic heights. Believe you visited Nizampet one, Its very new.
Thanks a lot for valuable Feedback. You want me to zero on Global Edge School. I came to know, they are building a campus in Vasant Nagar and will be operational next year.
Please provide feedback, if you come across on Global Edge. Thanks once again.
SKASH1 : Thanks for the feedback !! Only concern with my kid is Age criteria. My daughter will be completing 5.3 months and Age should be 5.6 years for Silver Oaks Admission.
Thanks a lot for valuable Feedback. You want me to zero on Global Edge School, as they are accepting Admission even 5.3 Years for Grade 1. I came to know, they are building a campus in Vasant Nagar and will be operational next year.
Prashanth,
It depends on your priority. I initially short listed global edge as my colleague's daughter studying there 3years and he is happy about her academic growth. As I find they don't have ground for outdoor sports and activities, I turned off. He is separately taking care of activities like dancing, swimming for her daughter at home, and that's fair enough.
I also heard about new campus, hope there they get ground. But my suggestion would be, visit the school, talk to concerned person about security, academic, activities in details. If your priorities with budget matches (after talking to them) go ahead else don't hesitate to find new one.
Thanks a lot for valuable Feedback. Let me know, which school your daughter joined. You did a decent research on schools so will blindly follow the path :)
I would like to prefer Sentia over Global Edge. Sentia follows XSEED methodology, has weekly assessment (even though it creates pressure on children, few parents told me that they are happy with it because it does the revision for kids and helps parents/teachers to understand the kids). Apart from that they have good ground and they ask students to for activities regularly.
Apart form these two, I agree with skash1 that Silver Oaks is the best option in terms of academic and VFM. They can allow 5.3 years for grade-1 if you provide in written that in future if there is any issue from CBSE they are not responsible. Talk to the admission coordinator in details about it. Hope this should not be issues if your daughter selected by them.
I admitted my daughter (in grade-1) and Son (PP-2) in Ambitus few weeks back. I took the decision keeping in mind mainly the security measures (in class room, activity area, transport) in place for kids, they have loads of activity (I want my kids spending same amount of time for academic and activity/playing).
My two kids are studying in KPHB branch since 3 years, no Playground. Very limited activities/games. Weekly 5 days school, frequent holidays for kids, which is annoying.
And, If you are ready to pay the amount whatever the school asks you (either for school essentials/other stuff) and you are calm person (I mean, no habit of questioning school management / principal), then, you can join your kid(s) in this school branch.
I did more research than anyone else in KPHB area . I can not type all the details as I am busy . Try silveroaks first if you don€™t get that please choose any other option based your criteria
