When do you want to admit your elder son? Is it for this year or next year ?
Mid term admissions now in schools like DAV, MVM(kondapur) would be difficult. It is within your budget.
If it is for this year, you can get in pre-schools like Bachpan, Bubbles , Prodigy , Little Cherubs.
I have read good reviews of Bubbles from existing parents in this forum.
You can also contact Phanisree who has posted about her preschool in this forum. The school is in KPHB 5th phase. www.prodigyhyderabad.com .You can contact Phanisree on 9490192406.
You also have Little Cherubs Pre-Primary school cum daycare in Plot no 355, HMT Hills ,Kukatpally. It is run by Mrs Usha Chandrika who is the Principal. You can reach her on 9618072933. This school has Time Life books which are very good and expensive.
The preschools too would be in your budget.
I think you can join him in a preschool this year and try for DAV, Sangamitra , MVM (Maharshi Vidya Mandir) for class 1 . You will have to call these schools and ask the dates for taking the admission forms for class1. Some schools give in the month of Non/Dec and some of them give in the month of March. So kindly visit these schools and know the status.
I think the best option for you would be to join your son in a nearby preschool if you are shifting now and try for DAV, Sangamitra or MVM for class 1 next year.
Thanks for your replay, got some idea on your replay, It is for this academic year only, i haqve to shift my house from santhosh nagar to Kukatpally area or manikonda area.
so please suggest good schools for U.K.G with cultural activities. in kukat pally to miyapoor
The above mentioned schools like Bubbles, Prodigy , Little Cherubs , Bachpan are in that stretch. You can have a look at these schools this year for UKG and try for main schools in the month of Nov/Dec 2010 or Mar 2011 depending on the application forms for schools like DAV, MVM, Sangamitra , Ladders ,Vignan or Vikas. (Vikas will be more than 25K) for class 1. U can see the fee structure of Vikas in its website.www.vikasconcept.com.
Check out Sentia. It is about 2.5-3 kms from Miyapur X roads but they have bus services. The school is taking admissions in Sr. KG (my son goes there)and though not VERY exciting, the school is good given the choices available during mid term.
The best part is your kid is back at home around 1:00 PM all 5 days in the week.
Visit www, sentia.in and call them at +919985188821 and visit the school.
i am adding my query along with srinivas query.i stay near jntu circle.just started searching for good schoos for my daghter for next academic year.my budjet around is around 30 k(also ready to put more if the school is really good).my daughter is 3.5 years old.i came to known to that in cbse, for 1 st standard the age should be more than 5.5 years.is it true?so i am planning to put her in lkg for next academic year(she will be loosing 6 months). Please suggent me best schools around juntu.my contact no:9441219606,mail id:email@example.com.
please give me your opinion about sanga mitra, creeks, silver oks, ladder etc.
Yes, it is better if the child is 4+ for LKG, 5+ for UKG and 6+for class 1. However , you can have kids from 5.5 + onwards in class 1 in CBSE. As already mentioned above,
DAV, Sangamitra, The Creek and Ladder are all good schools. You can also try in Vikas and MVM. Please call these schools as the forms will be given in the month of Oct/Nov/Dec. Silver Oaks also follows PYP(An International Primary education Program) teaching methodologies from PP1 to grade 6 along with CBSE curriculum. The fee will be higher than 30K.
