We stay at Daramkaram Road my son is studying pp2 at nearby school. I want to join in best school for 1st class. Can anyone plz help me for joining in good school.
The best option for you would be Chinmaya Vidyalaya at Begumpet. There are a few seats vacant for class 1 every year for new students. You can try to put him in class 1 next year. Please call up 040-23418012 to know the exact dates for taking the forms. For class 1 , it is mostly given after March. Kindly verify it . Getting in Chinmaya is a bit tough. You need to try in 2 or 3 other schools too .
You can also try in Sister Nivedita and The Slate at Ameerpet.
Chinmaya is the best among all the 3. Infact it is a leading CBSE school in Hyd. You can see my detailed review of Chinmaya written to RSV and aniki in the below thread.
Thanx for ur information. Can I knew about radcliff school which is at sanathnagar. One of my close friend forcing me to join at future kids which is at J'hills and puppalguda as they are very much satisfied with their kids.
Radcliffe is a new school which has started this year. My neighbour's son is studying in this school in class 1. I am told that the school is having State-of -Art technology/infrastructure with audio visual aids. It is too early to comment on the school. So far so good thats what my neighbour says... If it is near to your place, you can as well opt for it.
Future Kids in an ICSE school and i have read mixed reviews about it in this forum. Please visit the school personally and get convinced. My friend's daughter is also studying in class 9 in this school. She is quite satisfied with the school and its activities too.
Radcliffe is a CBSE school.
thanx a lot for ur suggestions.I ill visit both the schools and let u know.
i am vizzi,my daughter is studying in aurobindo international which is in vidyanagar, its a vry good &well displined school&one of the most popular in hyd.as my husband got ajob near gachibowli, can u suggest some schools matching the standards&methods of shri aurobindo please.my daughter is 6yrs and studying in 1st std
I think Aurobindo is an ICSE school . There are not many ICSE schools near Gachibowli. Most of them are CBSE schools or have CBSE with IB-PYP methodology and IGCSE in class 9 and 10.
You can look at Future kids at Nanakramguda. It is an ICSE school. I have read very strong reviews both +ve and -ve about this school in this forum. You need to have a look at this school and decide. As such my daughter's friend studies here in class 9. Her parents are quite happy.
Thanks a lot for sharing so much information in detail in the forum. We will be moving to Hyd soon and I am looking for good CBSE private schools for my 5 year old daughter. I am more inclined towards in areas both in and around Gachibowli.
As any other parent would, I am looking for a school with values, cooperative & knowledgable faculty , good allround development and ofcourse good education.
Any help in me picking good school(s) is highly appreciated.
In which std are u looking for ? I presume that your daughter is currently in UKG now.
Mid term admissions would be a bit difficult in schools like Chirec(Gachibowli) and DPS. The schools which you can try right now are Sentia-The Global near Miyapur ,The Creek at Bachupally , Vikas-The concept school , Ladders near Kukatpally , Maharshi Vidya Mandir (MVM) at Kondapur or Jain Heritage at Kondapur.
MVM's pre school timings are till 3 pm. My friend was denied mid term admission initially in LKG but then was asked to contact again. But bcoz of the long timings, she didn't opt for it .
You can also have a look at CGR International near Gachibowli. You can contact Charumaheshwari in this forum through parentree inbox. She has admitted her daughter in this school. However you will not find any playground. Same is the case with Manthan International at madhapur. Manthan follows international teaching methodology but lacks playground.
You can also have a look at Prerna Waldorf school at Gachibowli. Its quite economical and will be near to you.
Oakridge is an International school which is at Gachibowli. The fee is quite exorbitant. If you are okay with it, you can surely opt for this school.
Admissions are in progress in Jain Heritage a Cambridge School. The fee would be around 70 K. It also quite good and would be near to Gachibowli.
MVM, Jain at Kondapur will be near to Gachibowli than Sentia, Ladders and Vikas.
Please do have a look at schools , their proximity to your residence and then decide. Wishing you Good Luck.
I am listing the websites of the schools which I have mentioned for your reference.

www.jainheritage.in Ph.No- 040 3252 5252, Mob.No- 9000676784.
In case u need any further help, do let me know.
thanxs for ur suggestion.but aurobindo's concept is completly different, its like aplay way method.at 1st std now she is learning numbers 1 to 100 alphabets ,joing words i hope u understand....so can she cope up with some other school&get admitted.pls sugest me
You can try Euroschool in Madhapur. The school doesn't have a big playgroud. But the education is very stress free. Please have a look at this school. I have read good reviews about it from parents in this forum.
Thanks a lot Mickey for detailed information. To clarify, I am trying to join my daughter when the academic year starts, which is next June, in 1st grade. Also I am not particular on the Fee levels as long as the school delivers what they promise.
So I hope your school recommendations still stay the same based on what I just said.
Out of all the schools in and around Gachibowli, Chirec and Oakridge are the best .
Please contact the schools in this month or next month to know when they would give the admission forms. You will have to ensure that someone collects the forms and submit it too before the scheduled date as midterm admission in these schools is difficult. You can also try DPS .
As Oakridge is an Inernational school, the fee structure will be more than 1 lakh. The fee break up is given in this forum by one of the parents. You can use the search engine to find out.
You can also fill the form online and get the fee details from Oakridge . You can write to admission co-ordinator in Chirec too. You will get an immediate response.
Apart from these schools, you can try the above mentioned schools too.
Keep Chirec/ Oakridge followed by DPS , Jain Heritage(Kondapur) , Meridian (madhapur) ,Sentia(Miyapur) as your priority.
please shareyour information regarding radcliffe balanagar, we are in dilema to choose kenndy global, radcliffe and dav vivekanandnagar.
your comment will be helpful for us.please reply as soon as possible
It is better to opt for DAV. If you are looking for lower grades, u can have a look at Radcliffe. But for higher grades opt for DAV or Kennedy Global. Do go through review of Kennedy n talk to other parents too before u opt for this school as the feedback is not convincing.
thanks for your reply
as i am looking for UKG, i can opt DAV OR Radcliffe, but DAV infrastructure is not convincing, radcliffe is better. even class strength is 45, so i feel radcliffe is better. Infrastructure is good in radcliffe do you have any idea about the studies and books as the have their own designed books. if you have any review or feedback from your know people please let me know
Hi Karthik, Studies, books n activities are good in Pre-primary. The school follows CBSE as such. You could also write to Deepaa through PT inbox. I will put a word to her to check her inbox.
Her daughter has completed Pre-primary from this school.
thanks alot i will as her review
thanks a lot for your prompt reply. i have a query, my son will complete 4 yrs by march 2012. as though he is studying LKG in nearby school. shold i opt for UKG while joining him in another school. will there be any problem to him in higher grades
Your son would be 4.3 by June'12. You could go ahead if you feel he is able to cope up. There are a few CBSE schools which admit 3.3+ kids into LKG. If you take this into consideration, you could definitely opt for UKG. But it is ideal to be 4.6+ for UKG.
For a difference of 3-4 months , I think you don't need to repeat LKG.
If at all you feel that he is stressed out, make him repeat UKG.
even i have the same feedback is radcliff school good for higher standards or creek the planet school
mickey i am glad u anwser this query soon as i need to opt he admission
thanks alot mickey,
your suggestion really helped me a lot to make a decision.
thanks once again
I too visited Radcliff, Balanagar for my kid admission into 1st class.
I found it is good compare many schools.
1. Student teacher ratio is quite good.
2. Good transportation.
3. Infrastructure also good.
4. Not very big play ground but should be enough.
5. Good transfer options even for short period.
6. Management and teachers are good in receiving parents.
But I could not able to judge the on the following factors:
1. How good is the school for higher classes beyond 2nd class.
2. Its located in Industrial area and the traffic also heavy. So there might be lot of distrubance.
3. They have their own designed books. Are they good enough? And if we want move out of this school can our kid is competitive enough to get admission in other standard schools based on their books?
If some one have idea, could you please provide me information. Thanks in advance
even have the same opinoin as i visited school for my kid for ukg, till 2nd class i found radciffe very very good but after that if we want to change the school then kids cant go up with the another school sylbus ,thas the main confusion going on.
I am looking for PP1 schoolfor my daughter.Pls suggest which school is good to join in terms of environment, teaching and extra curriculum activities
I saw seeds school at Miyapur and Creek school at Bachupally.Creek school looks very good in terms of environment with lust greenrey.Well maintained which is required for kids for peaceful environment.
But need to know how the teaching will be and about the kids care...
