Can someone let me know about Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in BHEL and Sanghamitra school in Nizampet rd.

How these schools are and the admission process. Would like to know about fee structure also.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Pami,

Both are good schools. BVB at BHEL is better . I don't think, you will be able to get admission now. No harm in visiting the schools and know the status.   My cousin worked in BHEL, BVB for very long. I will let  u know the fee structure soon. Only one time donation will be high i suppose in BVB.

Pami 2010-07-01 20:51:09

Thanks Mickey..  No admission is required now.. Will be required next year.. So finding info in adv.

mickey 2010-07-23 17:37:53

Hello Pami,

BHEL BVB's admission fee is around 25K which is called as Bhavan's fund. The annual fee is around 12k which is quite nominal.  Fee varies according to the class. If u can tell me the class, i will let u know the exact fee for that class.

The strength is more. There are around 50 to 60 students in a class. So just check out before taking admission here. Apologies for replying so late. I didn't call her up all these days as she was  on some tour with family and there was no urgency from your side too about the fees as it is for next year. If u need any further info , do let me know. I will get back to you soon.

Hi Micky,

Can you tell me is BVB BHEL is different than BVB jublee hills branch. what is the admission procedure in BVB BHEL and is it starts from nursary. I heard admission procedure is a bit comlicated here and you need some VIP approach for it.  I am not sure how true it is. Please also tell me what is the fee straucture here for LKG.

mickey 2010-07-26 18:47:33

Hello Barkha, Both the BVBs are different. Usually the forms will be given in the month of Oct/Nov/Dec. You don't require any recommendation as such for BVB-BHEL.

For Jubille hills branch too, people say recommendation works. But not in all cases. One time donation is high in Jubilee Hills branch. It will be around 50 K to 1 lakh.  I have heard  that its for higher classes only. Subsequently fees will be nominal. It will be around 12 to 18K depending on the class.

My friend got her daughter admitted in LKG in BVB, Jubilee Hills without any recommendation or donation. The fee was also nominal. I think she has paid around 35K. The school has lottery system too for admission into LKG.

In BVB, BHEL admission fee is 25K . It is not as high as Jubilee hills branch. Annual fee is around 12K. . My cousin told me that the strength is more in Bhel branch. It is around 50 to 60 per class and didn't as such recommend this school when i spoke to her a few days back.

I think the BHEL school is also from LKG and not from Nursery. I will confirm tomorrow.

Hi Mickey thanks for the reply. Which one is better :DPS kondapur, Chirec or BVB jublee hills. My daughter is 1.5 yrs old now. I am planning to put her in nursary next year in a nearby school mostly in Little einstien or roots star kids and from LKG i am planning to put her in BVB jubliee hills as i heard that this is the best school. Please provide your feedback.

Thanks, Barakha

Hi Barkha,

Good thought.  At 2.5 yrs, next year, let your child be in playschool rather than Nursery.  Put her in LKG when she turns 4. Though many preschools  will take in Nursery, it's better to join her in Nursery when she turns 3. I have written in detail to Nehab yesterday about Nursery admissions in the below thread. Please go through it. Hope u will find it useful. Another parent Mohan too has expressed his views.

Out of all the three schools , u mentioned , yes BVB is the best and easy on pocket too.  There are many  extra curricular activities and moral classes too for children.

The results are also good. The only drawback is the strengt h per class. It's more in higher classes. Only one time fees is high . That too , its high for higher classes.  For LKG, it should be around  35 K which i have already mentioned above.

Chirec and DPS can be preferred after BVB. Their fees is deifinitely more than BVB. The infrastructure ,facilities, transport in Chirec and  DPS are better than that of BVB. Hence the fees  is also more.

I find children from BVB are more cultured and humble than that of Chirec and DPS. Its my personal experience.

About BVB, you can see its review in the below link. Find my reply to Aniki on 16th Apr'10. I gave given a comparision of BVB with Chinmaya. Though  the review is more on Chinmaya than BVB you will have an idea about BVB.

 HI All,

My daughter is 2.5 yrs old. Does Bhartiya vidya Bhavan , BHEL has nursery ?

I heard its preferable to get admission in Nursery as compared to LKG as the seats will be more in Nursery.

Could you please suggest of good schools in Madinaduga, Chandanagar , BHEL ?

Thanks and Regards,

Sayama Ahmed

mickey 2011-02-22 23:00:48

 Hi Sayama,

BVB at Rd no  71 and BVB  at Rd no 45 in Jubilee Hills   start from LKG.  So , I guess BVB , BHEL  too  starts from LKG.

You can look for nearby playschools  for Nursery. I heard Lillys in Miyapur is good.

Apart  from this , you can try in Genesis in Madinaguda  and Preschools like Bachpan or Kidzee and try for LKG in established schools next year.

Genesis is trying to get CBSE affiliation . Currently it follows CBSE till class 5 and from class 6 to 10 , it is SSC. It is a decent  and pocket friendly school in Madinaguda . You can have a look.

 HI Mickey,

Really appreciate your quick reply. Our daghter is 2 yrs 3 months now.

Both of us are working, so we have admitted our kid in a day care cum play group school. Its nearby our office. The name is Esperanza. It was the only day care which was flexible enough and providing 12 hrs day care ( of course we dont use it for 12 hrs , but we use it for 9 hrs) and they povide food as well.

Would like to know that to prepaer the kid for LKG interviews , should we put her in some other Nursery or continue with Esperanza itself.

We are presently staying at Tolichowki and will be shifting to Madinaguda ( beside My home jewel)  in a couple of months.

Also how is Vignan school ? This is school is very near to the apartment in Madinaguda.

I agree these are too many questions but plz reply.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks and Regards,

Sayama Ahmed

mickey 2011-02-24 21:40:48

 Hi  Sayama,
I think  you can continue with Esperanza at Gachibowli for Nursery.
LKG interviews are mainly centered around parents and very simple questions will be put to  the child. She will have to  recognize some  colours,  shapes , answer some simple questions,  arrange puzzle blocks etc . You don't have to worry about her interview for LKG. She will learn all these things in Nursery.

Vignan is good and affordable  but I have heard that the strength in pre-primary is around 50 ! So please check it out.

by the way i hope u remember me am archana

mickey 2011-10-01 21:14:41

 Hi Archana,

Sanghamitra is better.    The fee for class 2 is 22K. For lower grades, it would be less. You could try in DAV, Kukatpally or DAV Miyapur too.

You could see the fee structure of DAV in  its website

DAV Miyapur is a new school.

Please go through Merry's reviews about KennedyHigh Global  in the below link. Kindly visit the school and talk to other parents n students too before you decide about this school.

saimom 2011-10-03 11:10:57

Hello Archana,

I heard nice things about Sanghamitra, but the saddest part, they have already closed the admissions for next academic year 2012-13.

2986 2011-10-10 20:06:19

Thanx Micky & Saimom,

Tried Sangamitra, but admissions are closed. Plz let me know some information about Sentia Global School.

mickey 2011-10-10 21:52:25

 Hi Archana,

Pl go through below link to know more about Sentia. You could get in touch with Chaitalikm.

1983 2011-12-14 11:47:25

Hi Micky

We are searching for schools near Bachupally and Nizampet. We heard Sangamithra is good however looks admissions closed. What are the other options..

1) Sliveroaks 2) Kennedy and 3) Sentia Please suggest with some feedback on Pros and Cons with each school

mickey 2011-12-15 12:43:59

 Hi Anu,
I have seen reviews of spanking in Kennedy in this forum. So pl check out once again before u decide on Kennedy High Global.

Sentia is good but the children are spoonfed. I mean everything in the exam is already taught to them and the exams are conducted only from the revision portion. This is what i was told by one of the parents. Pl talk to other parents too. Ofcourse, as parents we too need to take interest and teach them.

You could prefer Silver Oaks or DAV.
