We belong to hyderabad but till now my family was in Kuwait. I am shifting my family now, looking for admission in class X and class IV in good CBSE School near Banjara hills and nearby areas. Please suggest some school were admission is possible now for the year 2016-17
Hi Inshaq,
There are many good CBSE schools in and around Banjara Hills where you could get admission for class IV but for Class X, it is a bit difficult because all CBSE schools register their students in class IX itself.
You will be requiring Migration certificate/TC, marks memo of Class IX, eligibility certificate if any. If there is anything else, pl check with the school. Make sure you have all the required documents.
You could try in
Hillside Academy in Banjara Hills. Class X result was good last yr.
Sister Nivedita in Ameerpet. Pl check the Class X result of Sister Nivedita.

BVB- Atmakuri Rd no 45 Jubilee Hills

It is a bit difficult in BVB and Obul Reddy but do call up and find out if they are open for Class X admission.
Class IV admission in any of these schools depends on vacancy, March/April is the right time to know about class 4.
Below are the rules of CBSE for admission into Class X
http://www.cbse.nic.in/examin~1/admissionmt.htm
**7.3 Admission to Class X : - As the syllabus prescribed at Secondary level is of two years integrated course, no admission shall be taken in Class X directly. Provided further that admission to Class X in a school shall be open only to such a student who:
(a) has completed a regular course of study for class IX, and
(b) has passed class IX examination from an institution affiliated to this Board.
(c) A student who has completed a regular course of study for Class IX and has passed Class IX examination from an institution recognised by/affiliated to any recognised Board in India, other than this Board, can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parent(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the students the mark sheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned. In case of such admissions the schools would obtain post facto approval of the Board within one month of admission of the student.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Mickey
