Hi Suresh,

You may not find exactly in Ameerpet a good montessori school. You can try in near by areas.

Los Ninos in Kapadia Lane before the Erramanzil Bus stop is very good. Not many people know this school. You have to register well in advance  (6 months). Mrs Maria ,  who is a very well known acadamecian runs this institution. She takes children who complete 2 1/2 yrs strictly. If your child is 2 yrs, do approach her right now.

You can try Roots Motessori at Banjara Hills or Jubilee Hills or DPS Play school at Somajiguda behind Babukhan Mellinium or DPS Playschool at Begumpet. DPS playschool follows montessori but is pretty expensive.

You can also find Euro Kids in Ameerpet. But I don't know if it follows  purely montesori method.

Hi Mohan,

Montessori is a play way method of teaching where children are not stressed. It introduces writing only when the child turns 5 or so.

You can go through this link to know more about this method.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montessori_method

A lot  has been written about Montessori in Parentree. You can use the search tool to know about this methodology. In case you need any help, lemme know.

Rgds,

Mickey

Hi Suresh,

There is one more update about Roots Montessori, Banjara Hills. The school no longer exists now. It was a branch of Roots Montessori at Jubilee Hills. I called up today and spoke to Ms Sunita. The school now is known as

Manipal Hill Side Academy

Jubilee Hills, Road No – 46
Opposite to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University
Hyderabad - 500 03
Phone - 040 - 23546113, 23556184, 97034 55561

It follows IB-PYP methodology from nursery to class V and from VI to X it follows IB and CBSE. IB-PYP is a very good methodology. You can have a look at this school.

How old is your child ? Do visit Los-Ninos in Kapadia lane. You might not see a very beautiful building but heard a lot about this montessori. I too had been here for my daughter when she was 2yrs old. I was denied admission as my daughter was too small then. Ms Maria wanted me to join my daughter in another Montessori at Vijay Nagar Colony run by her friend as hers was already booked. So I dropped the idea.

Rgds,

Mickey.

All-

Any good Montessori options in Hitech city area?. I am very familiar with the Montessori system of education (my daughter who is now 7) attended one in US and I love the way she flourished.

I have a two year old that I am looking to join into a pre-school. The options - in so far as I have seen - seem to be very thin in Gachibowli/Madhapur/Kondapur area (Blue Blocks is the only one I found so far and I am not too excited about their two hour a day program for this age).

Thanks for your help.

Hi Abhi, i hv replied in another thread where u hv posted this query... Pl check out...

Usually kids are admitted into montessori at 2.5 yrs...

Many parents hv their kids in montessori till 5 -6 yrs i.e till they complete their pre-schooling( lkg, ukg)... One could continue till primary depending on the school if they offer.
