New Gitanjali school in Kukatpally?

It seems that the Gitanjali group has opened a new school called Gitanjali Devakul at Kukatpally. Does anyone have any knowledge / feedback on this school?

I have joined my daughter (in UKG) in this school (Gitanjali Devkul), they have taken over an existing school (VSK/Sparkling Stars). This school will be under the same management of other Gitanjali schools. As this is their first year, you won't be able to get any feedback. For us it was a very difficult decision to make without any feedback, we went through admission process (parents interview and written test for child). We spoke to Principal on the questions we have, she patiently answered all the questions and assured that they will bring this school to the standards followed at all other Gitanjali schools.

They are continuing with most of the existing staff of VSK school, they will train them continuously to get to the Gitanjali standard. It will definitely take few years. They don't have enough space for ground, fees wise it is around 30k for UKG and 20k admission fees.

Hi kiran4hari,

Can you please share more details on parents interview and written test for child. what are all asked for?
If we are admitting child to LKG who hasn't attended any preschool, even then test is mandatory for admission? what is the selection process?

As of now, it is OK school. Study wise it is OK. Extracircular activities are also good.

The most un organized admission process. The only school in India having academic year starting in April. Govt school is better than this school.

@Thanumalayan, as far as I know all CBSE schools follow this pattern, they will have couple of weeks in April (Distribute books, uniforms during this time) and then summer vacation. Not sure what exactly the problems you faced during the admission process.

Not sure if you tried other schools for admission, I don't think the admission process is any different. Sangamitra school i think starts the admission process around July. At least this year does it in December.

Hi Kiran , My daughter born in October 2012. They didn't give application for LKG stating that she is not eligible ( I.e she will not complete 3years 6 months in April). We were waiting for more than 2 hours. No proper info until we get into the enquiry room.
