NR: Mount Litera Zee School, Hyd

 A very happy new year to you too Indu.

Mount Litera is a good school. We are planning to put our daughter in S.KG of Mount Litera Zee School. My husbad had recently visited the campus and was quit impressed. 

Though visually it might match up to schools like DPS and Glendale. It is at that stage where DPS /Glendale might have been 5 -6 years ago. 

My husband was quit impressed by interacting with the principal. Mount Litera is up to class VI right now and is expanding by every year.

Academics seem to be at par with other reputed schools. The fees is also comparitively lesser than the DPS/Glendale, at this stage.

I don't know the exact pros and cons as I too have just enquired about the school and met the staff.

If you may come to know of anything else. Do share.

I liked the infrastructure too. Hopefully, it should be completed by Jun 2013. Spacious classrooms and very neat. I am considering this school for L.K.G. :-)

donation/Infra: 30k

cautiion (refundable): 10k

tution fees: 15.4*3

transport: 5.5*3  (free within < 5 km of school radius)

Misc (adm/unifmor..etc): 4k

This is a Franchisee,not owned by Zee group. I'm also planning to join my Kid in Jt KG this year. The infra structure looks very good and fee is also not very high at least when compared to the Apparartment schools like Bachpan/Kidzee etc.

Would like to hear reviews from parents whose kids already joined there

Yes, I've made my mind. For me its a middle class/upper middle class's DPS. Blocked the seat by paying some amt.

 I feel the fee structure is on the higher side, i think they should come down on the term fee...

apart from that everything is fine, the infrastructure, very hygenic

Thanks for the information. Has anyone analysed how good the administration is? Any luck to get some details like staff attrition in last few years? Anyone knows since when they are running this school. In the website its mentioned they have classes till LKG - XII. Is it correct? If yes, can we have the performance status of recent Class X results?

If you are referring to the Manikonda school, it started from 2012-13. I think it is upto class VII.

How is the School  for  Lower KG and Upper KG , primary section, i am planning to get my son admitted in Zee Litera, is it a good school are the teachers good ?
what is the child to teacher ratio  in each junior class ?
are the franchise handling the school well or they are money minded ?

Hi All ,
Today we went and visited the Mount Litera Zee School in Manikonda, Hyderabad.  

Pros -
1. Nice Campus
2. CBSE Board
3. Mount Litera method of teaching
4. Every class is neat and have Smart Boards
5. Have 1 tenis court, 1 basket ball court and 1 football court / cricket
6. Child Teacher ratio is well maintained 28: 2 teacher

CONS
1. No Swimming 
2. Not very old just 4 years old
3. location is bad , just resedential houses outside
4. poor road and connecting infrastructure, only if u go from lanco hill side its ok
5. Manikonda branch is till class 8 now , not appeared till class x


fees are 50k per annum and transport is 14k per annum
food and dress, book cost extra  for pp1 pp2
did met the admission coordinator Suman, she was nice to explain about the school and facility, even her own daughter is studying in same school , which gave us the confidence, that school should be doing good.

Its the best i had never come across ....... the care taken by teachers for kids is awesome .. i had joined my daughter Sarayu in Lkg last year , she completed her UKg with abnormal skill development .... thanks MLZS, i was wondered on seeing the care taken by them , the syllabus , the extra curricular activities and every thing ..... no doubt the school is best one ... the transportation is also too good ... i never felt tension on my kid reaching home ............. i believe that she is in safe hands
