Hello,

I have a 4year old daughter for whom i am looking for a school. She is in PP1 in Blossoms Int play school, Madinaguda

Following are my requirements:

1)Reasonable fees. I dont want a school that charges more than 60K (transport etc all included) as i have a 1 year old son whom i have to support as well.

2)School should have reasonable activities along with academics

3)Hygeine and good atmosphere in kids

I have seen following schools in past 1 week

a)Arbor International School,Kondapur. The infrastructure is still not in place and the fees is just too high for that inf. Charging 80K+ admission fees. Not impressed by the school.

b)Sentia: the Infrastructure, classrooms look good but have heard mostly negative reviews about the school saying all dikhawa and no practice. My society has atleast 5-6 kids going there.

c)Vikas Concept School: The fees was reasonable.45K/year all included + one time 40K donation . The Schhol Ambience looks good. Have heard they are more into academics than activities. Would like to more opinions on that.

Next i am planning to see Little Angels school in Madinaguda. My friend's son is studying there and seems to be satisfied. Plus the school is barely 2 KM from my house.

If any people on this forum have any additional knowledge please do share.Grateful to All.

Thanks,

Sachin

Hello,

I saw the fountainhead school in Miyapur. As of now it looks like a school to go.Very nice burriculam and activities and reasonable fees.

Can some parents whose kids actually go there confirm or give some proper feedback?

Thanks,

Sachin

 Hi Sachin,

We are looking for admission onto 1st class for our daughter. Anyway we will visit the school, but your feedback helps a lot before our visit. Can you please provide few more details about the school:

Infrastructure (school ground, classrooms etc)

Teacher-Student ratio in class

Do they have enough admissions this year (few blogs say that, they don't have)

Extra-curricular activities

Fee details

Thanks in advance....

Hi,

Every standard has just 1 class i.e for pp1 one class,pp2 one class,1st or 2nd ...one class.

The student teacher ratio is 1:22

The school has a small library which also has a culture of asking what the child has learnt from reading a book.

I was surprised to see a buffalo in the campus as they wanted to make children more close to the nature. No fancy campus, false ceiling (delibrate cost cutting to give "school" atmosphere as compared to corporate env).

The school building though is very small giving an impression that they dont plan to have big school (with facilities like labs etc for higher standards).

Thats the only concern that i have. That is why i need some more inputs from like minded people.

But the sylabus and activity plan looked too good

Fees:

3000 amission fee (one time)

3000 refundable deposit

20000*2 = 40000 per annum

5000 Extra curricular activity fees

14000 Transport fees

3000 (approx) for uniform and stationary.

Do visit and let me know your thoughts.

-Sachin
