I need feedback about sloka school. I have 3.5 yrs old daughter and i want to put her in goodschool with holistic approach in education..I heard so much good about this school but i am confused..thanku
Thank you for the information, i felt wadorf method is really good for a child to grow into a complete individual in all aspects...But my doubt is whether they can face the competitive exams and diff kind of assessments once they come out from such schools....just went through all the research work done abroad on waldorf method compared to other kind of education methods and they found woldorf method to be the best in moulding kids into holistic human being and they fared well in sciences and languages while below par with others in mathematics... But in our country education is totally based on marks and entrances.. Ultimately the kids have to face the competitive world... I dont know anyone who has come out of these schools and how they r doing because this concept is very new here...
Your mention of Waldorf students being below par in mathematics has not been my experience. What were your sources? As I'm sure you know there's a lot of misinformation out there in the electronic world. I always recommend visiting any school and if possible speaking with graduates. While you suggest that Waldorf students gravitate towards sciences and languages, which may or may not be true, that is most likely due to personal preferences and choices by the individual. In my experience they (Waldorf grads) have the intellectual and social skills to succeed in any field and to cope with the high pressure, fast paced world of the 21st century. Best of luck in your search.
