Hi Prashant. Which area are you looking to move to, in hyd?

i think most of these schools will fit in your budget. I looked at couple of them last year for my elder daughter. The good ones being Narayana, Chaitanya and Gowtham.

For little kids, i would say, don't push them into Narayana/chaitanya system yet since they are too much academics oriented. You don't want to churn out robots. Visit all 3 though - look at their infrastructure and talk to their principals. For preprimary, esp we need a lot of play-based teaching not traditional teaching. Choose a well balanced school. One of my friends had her younger daughter in Lotus but said quality is not good. I put my younger kid in nursery in Gowtham this year.

Hi,

I too am looking for admission into UKG for the next academic year.We missed this years admission process due to my kids illness.Anyways we r very  nonfused whether to join him in LKg or Nursery this year. His DOB is 16 th April 2009.He's just 16 days younger to get admisssion in lkg.I came to know through ur site that BVB nd JHPS r not giving admissions to LKG if the child is 4+ .What is this ?they wont give admission if he is younger or older.Apart from his sickness these rules r making me sick.CBSE board itself said in an interview to the HINDu that there is no certain age criteria abt the min age. its upto the regional offices. After a thorough investigation I found this news. There r many schools that r admitting kids who r just 3+(even HPS,MVM).Only certain schools  r following htis criteria.I'm in complete dilemma.....and agitation.PLz gimme a solution

 Hi,

Does any one know  which schools provide SSC syllabus in a play way method than simply mugging up the subjects for which its very popular.I think that is the reason why many of us are opting for cbse or icse schools.

It would b very valuable if someone answers  this.By the way any one heard abt Rishi valley,Madanapalle(Chittor dt).Any reviews abt it?

Thanq

@ Chunta - the syllabus followed in Gowtham is play-way method only for preprimary as far as i know...when i went for my son's admission, i saw some more play equipment -both indoor and outdoor that they have added this year...plus nice puzzles etc..they said they are making it completely play-way now to reduce stress for tiny tots..

havent heard abt rishi valley

chunta

I ve heard of rishi valley . It follows J Krishnamurthy' s  principles.  I heard that it is a wonderful school and follows alternative education. The child is absolutely stress free. It is bit tough to get admission there. But we can expect a  good citizen fromthe school.
